Soon-To-Be-Ex-Hubby made me feel awful this morning.

One of my daughters had an orthodontist appointment today to have braces fitted. Hubby said last night that he was taking time off to take her there.
I remembered how much pain she was in last time, so this morning I asked him to give her some painkillers when they got back & to judge whether she should go to back to school afterwards. Last time she was in agony and was unable to eat anything solid for several days, so I didn't want her to go without lunch or painkillers.
At least, that's what I
tried to say. As I was saying it, he shouted over the top of me to say that he hadn't booked the whole day off and would be going back to work immediately afterwards, dumping her at school no matter what. Daughter then broke in with a smug grin and said "he did tell you about this".
No, he
didn't. He discussed it at length with his mother (as per usual) but he never spoke to
me about it, apart from briefly mentioning last night that he was taking her in today.
As per usual in our household, he gave me a small portion of the story but left out most of the details. He always goes round his Mum's and discusses everything at length with her and then assumes that the whole freaking world knows the entire story through osmosis. Then when I ask innocent questions about it (because he never tells me anything) I get shouted down and made to feel like I'm somehow in the wrong for not having telepathically deduced what he was on about. He does it to me all the time and has done for years.
I do sometimes wonder whether he's doing this deliberately to send me round the twist.
Hey, Soon-To-Be-Ex-Hubby? Maybe you should've married your darn mother.
