I seriously believe there is no doubt in my mind I am reverting back to female. I think taking the finestride and the andro gel is causing me to revert back to female. When I look in the mirror OMG have I De-masculized. My facial hair... I'm not even sure if it is still growing. I can see my face has become softer and more feminine looking over the past few months. I think, ( which I hate to do) I'm going to stop taking the finastride and hope that will stop me from reverting back to female. Or maybe it's the andro gel...? Something isn't right though.

This seems like it has been going on awhile. Have you talked to your endo about it? This seems to be something you should address with a doctor-- I mean none of us can REALLY help you with this. We might have opinions back and forth but we can't really help this issue in the long run.

I haven't talked to my doctor directly, but I just got a blood test in late Oct and the andro gel still isn't working. I'm getting another blood test in Dec. But this has been going on since Aug. She just keeps upping my dosage after blood work is done. I'm not sure what else to do. My appt. with the nurse is not until Dec.

I understand, but you are the consumer. I don't know what the situation is where you live for other endos but you could consult with someone else. Even if you feel you can't change doctors (perhaps you are too far from another one.) Also you could see one that is too far away and s/he could assist your primary care physician.  I feel you may not be well-served here. I know some doctors don't like to be questioned but they need to be.

This website has a few good points re: self-advocacy:
