Estrogen stopped my chronic pain

For at least the last 6 years I have suffered chronic (as in perpetual, not debilitating) pain.  I started estrogen 4 days ago and was surprised to find that there was a very noticeable effect within 15 minutes of taking a dose. I was even more surprised when I realized that the sensation was very similar to the effects of opiate pain killers such as vicodin.
The constant background pain that I have been experiencing for such a long time has all but gone.
Better yet, I've been woken up the last three days with no pain at all which is when the pain is usually at it's worst.
Has anyone else experienced anything similar?

You mean that allover sensation of raw edge?  I had it most of my 60 years so much that it took two months before I realized it was gone.

Hmmm, I wouldn't really describe it that way.  I've had pretty constant joint and muscle pain every day for the last six years.
