The model is posed for the Guardian's Summer Guide 2007 touting nude beaches among other things.

I see so many transwomen these daysand my transdar has become so effective, I don't know what is obvious to others anymore.

Yes, it is obvious that its a former (or current) male.

I always find it instructive to discover, why someone is read (because I'm afraid myself of being read). What makes it obvious? The hands maybe, the come hither look that almost nobody on earth can pull off without looking silly? The facial dimensions are all right, small chin, jaw, nose yet there's seem to be very flat cheeks, the whole face seems to be long and lack fat. The eyes also have something, not sure what.

Its incredible how the brain is attuned to such little detail. When I go out I'm always worried that someone's TSdar will be more attuned than my own one and I'll not pass when I think I do!

I've been in both Montreal (36 years), SFO (3 years) and visit NYC 3-4 times a year (for decades) and travel extensively, and while I think the SFO women are much more stylish than those in the surrounding suburbs and most of the US, they don't come close in general to the stylishness of the women in New-York, Montreal and most European and Asian big cities. I think it has to do with the car and suburban culture in the US; because people have less of a public life, they pay less attention to their public presentation. They live in their castles with their family and from time to time venture out.

Even in SFO, which should be a pedestrian heaven, many people use the city as a very expensive suburb and go everywhere by car. When I lived on Telegraph hill (next to north beach) some suburbanite who had invaded the hill complained of the noise from north beach and tried to get a famous bar to close!!!! I could not understand at all, since the "noise" was so much less (a mere whisper)  than what I used to hear on "the plateau", a very dense "in" neighborhood in Montreal. Why move to this place of character and then try to transform it into a tranquil suburb!! The only noise I heard on the hill was from the foghorn at night and the happy seals partying near pier 39 a mile away (man they are loud).

Hey, don't shoot me please :-).

That she is a GG or not, I don't find her attractive at
all and its not even because she's got some masculine trait,
I find some models, actresses and even regular folks with
very masculine features quite attractive, its something else.

Of course, beauty is in the eye of the beholder, so hey, who am I to judge... But, in my opinion, besides the hair, which is very nice, I find nothing personally appealing in this model regardless of TS status.

Why we find something attractive is something so ingrained in the mind and relies on subtle things, that it must be right next to the genderDar.

Oh come now...

On second thought, it is quite possible that she is not a transsexual.

For me, it was the hair... It is a wig! There was no intention to make it look anything else but a wig.  The other tells are built upon the wig.  To me, this is an intentional presentation of our favorite subject.

I hesitate to say this but anyone who poses for a cover shot is fair game but, to me, the model clocks "guy" not trans (as in TS) That ws my gut reaction when I first picked up the hard copy from the rack. The photo in the hard copy shows her (or him)in a bikini, she (or he) does have a pretty nice body.
