I admit i was self conscious the first 30 times i used the ladies room but developed a sense of belonging and ownership the 300 times to follow. As women we talk to each other pass water pass gas and do other unmentionable smelly and noisy things on a REGULAR basis if we are healthy often several times a day. We just dont talk ABOUT it in a professional setting. The biggest faux pas isnt having a thunderbutt. Its not washing your hands- we women find that utterly disgusting and rude- and only slightly less offensive is being one of those uptight women who is stuck up and wont talk to you or pretends like their bowel movement are silent odorless ballets. Though even then they may just think youve got OCD or constipation or a strange upbringing. Real women poo, wipe front to back, flush, adjust their clothes, wash their hands, fix their makeup, and if a friend is there, talk the whole time. Drink a lot of water and eat plenty of canned chili and you will have lots of practice.
