So, it might be too early to tell, but since I've started androgel, I've been incredibly tired. I generally get enough sleep (7-8 hrs) but that doesn't seem to be enough, and I end up napping for another three or four hours during the day. I really can't start a biphasic sleep schedule again because of school and I might be starting a job soon.

I find I get tired when I don't apply it during the hour I usually do (6 o'clock). Anything later and I just need a nap :c Any way to combat this? Anyone else feel this way?

I'm pre-T so I can't comment too much, but teenage boys are pretty much renown for being lazy and sleeping too much, so it could just be the same thing effecting you as you're pretty much in the state of a pubescent boy.

My girlfriend's just forced me to sort my sleeping pattern out, it's been terrible for years, going to sleep about 4am in the morning and getting out of bed at 4-5pm, except the days when I have to be up at 6am to get to college and I just end up sleeping through lectures.  It feels brilliant now, so it might be worth trying other times of sleeping out.

Haha, well, I'm glad it's normal. I can definitely understand the hungry bit, that seems to be all I do. I'm starting to get into the horny stage... I think I've already experienced growth >_> Which is TMI, but that's alright, haha.

I haven't been on Androgel, I use injections.
While T makes me insanely hyper and ready for anything,
I have heard of guys that get the opposite effect.
I don't think it's anything to worry about.

Just like puberty your body is making changes and needs extra energy.

My doctor also warned me that in the beginning I would be tired b/c my hormone levels would be wacky as the E drops and the T increases....just like if a guy has low t he will be sleepy b/c of the imbalance - your hormones will be adjusting and cause you to be tired.

Yeah I'm knackered, I was wondering the same thing. Glad to see it's normal. I wasn't too worried because I read something ages ago about teenage boys being lazy not out of choice but because puberty was properly tiring for them  :P ... wasn't 100% sure if the same applied to trans guys.

Luckily my partner is awesome and he lets me sleep in when I need it. He doesn't need to leave for work until 10:30 so he gets up with our daughter and takes care of her whilst I snooze for a few extra hours  :D

I can definitely relate to hungry horny sleepy too xD sometimes all three at the same time o_o

I was wondering the same thing lol I've been on injections for almost 2 months now and even though hunger hasn't been a problem, i have been wanting to nap constantly! lol i sleep for 12 hours on my days off work. I have been known to sleep for 24 hours even. I have sort of a medical problem which makes me sleep all the time though, so it could be that but, it the sleepiness happens more often now than it used to lol so i like to think its the T
