Kia Ora,

Something unpleasant happened to you yesterday, the day before, or last week, you carry this unpleasantness with you into the new day, by going over and over it again and again...Is doing this really helping the situation? Aren't you just contaminating a fresh day with stale thoughts-past their used by date ?

Now what happened happened and there's no going back to fix it,[no time machine] but there is a way forward, and that is to appreciate the  new day... You have a fresh canvas to create something more positive...Don't waste the opportunity of a life time...and a fresh new day 'is' an opportunity of a life time...

If you take life too seriously -then life will be just that... too serious ...

So, do you tend to take life too seriously ? Or do you take each 'new' day as they come ?

I can say that I have taken life too seriously. I had let it poisoned my attitude, possible opportunities, and relationships. I've grown since then. I've gotten better, but not perfect. I'm no saint nor would I claim such, but I'm trying to live and let live.

In the past, I would let past events consume me. Now, once I wake up it is a new day and I don't concern myself much with what happened the day before. I'm much happier now.  ;D

Only those things that require being serious about. Otherwise, nope. :D Sometimes it's necessary to find something funny even in the most un-funniest things.

It really depends. I like to think that all in all, I am pretty easy going. But sometimes I do dwell on things, which drives certain people insane, lol.

I think what it is is that, when I am feeling not very confident in my own abilities to handle life, I get down and dwell. When I feel capable of handling life, I stay up.

Kia Ora Caleb,

You are what you think...So keep thinking this...

Kia Ora Brooke,

The more you live in the positive ie, have developed the ability to just let things go, the more it becomes the norm..
A Teflon mind where things flow through and nothing sticks... ;) ;D

People that "know" me consider me very easy going. I don't bring my life's struggles out into the open so as far as they see, I have a perfect life. That obviously doesn't include these forums where I like to vent... a lot. Behind the scenes, I take things entirely too seriously, but I'm working on correcting that.

I try not to take life seriously at all. My life is about enjoying it.
