Thank you both for your responses :D

And I am almost 6 weeks on HRT (Estrofem and Spiro). Hopefully things will start changing, soon!

Thanks. I do have a girly frame, lolz XD That wrist test thing? Yeah, my fingers overlap to the bend, lol. Hopefully the hormones will keep doing the work nature didn't get right the first time around!

Hey Stefani2! I commented before on your other pics and I've got to say, the hair makes you not just pass (which I felt you did right from the start) but become a super duper pretty girl xD Also, I'm getting some Natalie Portman vibes from your pic. Really, you're beautiful. I hope you'll one day see what I see and stop feeling bad about your looks. By the way, there's nothing wrong with your nose from what I can see. Actually, there's just nothing wrong with it period. :) Have a great dayyyyyyyy!!!!!

Okay, a little over 1 month in, here. My hair is growing out, but I just bought a wig, until then.

Here's a pic of me with it just sorta thrown on. It just came in a half hour ago and I've only worn it once so there are some kinks to work out. This is right before getting a shower, so no makeup or anything:

Omg, thank you. A lot of people were saying Natalie Portman on another board as well XD But I don't really see it...I really wish I could, but it helps to have outside opinions. You're all great!

And, aww, thanks so much, Shan! You're awesome.

Oh yeah toootally see the Natalie Portman resemblance especially in the avatar picture.

Really wonderful start, Stefani- you're going to be a total stunner no doubt. And you already do pass as a cute very girl! Don't worry about the hands at all. I thought I had long hands (7.75" from crease at base of palm to tip of middle finger @ 5'7") and it turns out my mom who is 5' 4" has exactly the same length of hands. And earlier on in my transition when I was still concerned/aware about it I met a handful of cis women with bigger hands and shorter height. It's really about how you use your hands and how you hold them that matters ;)

Can I ask, how old are you starting hormones? Regardless, I think it's obvious you're going to have great results. Lucky girl!

Hi, Stefani2, I think we are lucky enough to be blessed as about size 0, like Eva Longoria. You definitely pass & should fly over to the "You Look Fabulous" thread. I have long hands too but they appear smaller than men hands. You are going to transition into one Hot Female! I'm going to mull over if I can reinvent myself now. All the Best on your journey.

You are right about Shan, Awesome! We love our Auntie! My friend.

Jennygirl keeps blowing me away with each new pic of her transition, so Beautufil!
Hugs

@Jennygirl,

Thanks so much! And I am 18, and started HRT one month after my 18th birthday . And, yeah, my hands are about the same size as my mom's, as well. We were actually comparing them the other day (randomly, I don't even remember why) and I put mine up to my dad's and he was like "Oh, wow, they are really small, actually" which surprised him cuz of my tall height (I'm exactly 6ft, grrr!). Dunno why they looked so big in that one pic...

@Jamie,

Yes we are ;), lol. I was actually *underweight* until recently, but I have (thankfully) started putting on some weight since starting HRT (about 10 lbs, so far). My waist was like 26 inches at one point. And, yeah, I always love reading Shan's posts.

Thank you for your kind words!

Okay, okay, you're all sick of my face, buuut! I tried makeup and am sooo excited (even though I got a bit of cake face). What does everyone think (see avatar)?

For the first time in this whole transition, I looked in the mirror and wasn't disgusted by who was looking back at me. I def. need a brow wax but that gave me an ego boost, yay! I'm seriously considering....possibly an RLT? Cuz that was exciting. I am sorta worried about my voice but when I came out to my sister she said that was one of my biggest assets and that I sound *just* like our mom (I *do* get ma'med on the phone, every time, sooo). What's everyone think? Am I ready or should I just not try that this early?

Well, if you feel ready, you feel ready. Honestly from what I see there isn't much of a problem at all. You look a lot more girly than me and even though it's a crappy dose, I have a lot more time on HRT than you do.

Oh yeah, and I've read that waxing eyebrows isn't the best of ideas because the skin there is really fragile and doesn't appreciate the wax at all. It said it's a lot better to have them plucked instead, not to mention that method is a lot more accurate.

Go for it sweetie, there's no time like the present, so don't waste it go and be who you really are!

Thanks, Auntie Shan! I think I'm going to go for it when my sister gets here in a week or two XD Yaaay, I'm excited! Will let you all know how it goes (I'm expecting disappointment, so I will not get my hopes too high, lolz).

I agree with A.  I had a HORRIBLE waxing experience.  I used to get them done by this lady at my mom's salon she goes to.  Now, I should mention that even though I am biologically female, I have my fathers "male British eyebrows" or as I used to say "looks like a Caterpillar died on my face" brows.  So, my hair is very ingrown and very thick, so you have to do tiny chunks at a time.  Well, the usual girl was busy and said that this other girl could do it for me, forgetting to tell her you have to do mine different than other people.  She layers the wax on just as she would with everyone else, goes to rip it off and it doesn't come off.  She tries another strip, no go.  She tries to wipe it out. No go.  She ends up having to rip the wax out of my eyebrows with tweezers.  By this point I'm in tears cause that hurts like a mofo.  The usual lady finally finishes and ends up taking over for the other one after I take half a pill of vic because it's hurting so bad.

Moral of the story?  Be careful when getting your eyebrows waxed if you have thick hair.

You're ready appearance wise, that's for sure. But are you ready mentally? If you have the right attitude you'll always pass, because you've got the right look! <3 and I love your new avatar. Your makeup is really nice and subtle. Not a lot of girls can pull off wearing so little makeup. ^_^ hehe

Stefani2, I am only 5'1" I know some 6' plus people wish they were shorter, I don't think they want to be as short as me, but I wish I could have sprouted in my late teens to close to 6' but it never happened. My metabolism I think burns off whatever I eat so I still have my teen shape. I don't like rich or fatty foods, so there goes fattening me up. The advantage is I can wear youthful clothes. One disadvantage is I need a women's shoe 4 1/2 size & it is difficult to find a size 5 which I can shim with some tissue to fit to my small feet. I think my waist is still at 27 inches.

With your hairstyle I think you have an Angelina Jolie resemblance. Sounds like you are blessed to have a great Sister & that she says you sound like your Mom, so lucky to have a femme voice. It seems like you are ready for RLT.

Enjoy your female life!

@Darkie,

Woah. OMG. Thanks a bil for that advice, I will remember that. You may have saved me a good amount of pain!

@Kyh,

Thanks so much!! It's Mary Kay and mostly mineral, so it's just sorta supposed to enhance everything. I also went with more earthy/subtle colors because I didn't want to go overboard (ie, brown and gold eye for the eyes, and a light pink dusting on the cheeks). A light pink lipstick, some mascara, but no eyeliner (need to work on figuring out how to apply that, lolz!).

And I dunno if I'm ready mentally, that's sorta what's holding me back. I was feeling pretty confident last night. But my height makes me insecure (as stated, I'm just about 6 ft) XD It will prolly just be a no biggie thing. I'm thinking going to our nice, quiet, local library, for a little bit, mebbe? And then maybe if that goes well, work it up to a trip to Kohls?

My maid of honor when I got married is like 6'2" and lanky.  I'm sure you will be fine!  I actually think tall girls are mysterious and exotic.  With their long legs.  Course, that is probably cause I am 5'2" on a good day. :)

You've already got a good eye for makeup then! And don't worry, you'll learn to use eyeliner soon enough. My first few times applying makeup I cried because I looked in the mirror and saw my face all messed up with ugly makeup and it was just bad... But I kept trying, and now I'm pretty good with makeup mwahahaha :) But these days I put on a bit less eye makeup and instead go for bolder lip colours. I bought this really beautiful blackish purple lipstick the other day and I also have this really pretty dark plum colour my mom gave me. Love them <3

And 6" isn't too tall. You'll be taller than most girls you're around, but not so tall that it's freakish :) And I wish we could hangout together! I would totally put on some 4 inch heels and put my hair in a high ponytail (Yay it's finally long enough to look cute like that!) so that we could be tall together ;D and attract attention from boys. Mwahahaha :)
