Thaneks!  11 days; it's hard to believe it's been 3 1/2 weeks already since I set the date.

what did the letter have to say?

All the breakdown from the insurance company says is "One letter of recommendation, in the form of a written comprehensive evaluation, is required by a qualified mental health professional acquainted with the member"

Sorry I couldn't be of more help.  :-/

Thank you!  3 days away...hard to believe it's here already.  My boyfriend has been AMAZING with all of our prep for surgery, I can never thank him enough.  We spent this weekend finishing up the prep and I think we're FINALLY ready :)

I'll keep you guys posted Post-Op and let you know how it goes!

I luck out with my Health Insurance from work an they cover Trans stuff.  The letter from my therapists just had to say that I was Trans and had been dealing with it my whole life, I was already on T and that it was medically necessary.  It took them a few weeks to approve it, but in the end they did.

BY THE WAY---SURGERY WAS TODAY!!! :-D It went really well and I'm home relaxing watching my favorite TV show (Law & Order SVU).
