So i tore my ACL 9 months ago (in rugby ) and im fine walking around. The doctor said you dont NEED a ACL to live or do everyday things. He asked me "what do you want to do, go back to what you were doing before or just be able to do everyday things?" I feel like it has gotten so strong. He even said that i only NEED surgery to do pivotal movement. He even said he knows a guy that plays Basketball with no ACL. I told the guy that i do want to go back to what i was doing before ( sports, hiking, athlete ) and he said then you will need ACL surgery but you dont NEED it right away. many other doctors will tell you that you NEED it ASAP and try to freak you out.
So my questions is since i want to get ACL surgery hopefully soon , could i still do T soon.I'm due for a call from Callen-Lorde in another 4 weeks to set up an appointment for T. I did hear that being on T you need to be careful when working out because your ligaments , tendents..etc but i wonder if they wont let me do T because of Surgery. I still havent schedule surgery for my ACL yet. After surgery i wont be able to fully walk for 3-4 weeks then its 8-12 months to getting back to sports again

Just wondering because Cis-guys tear their ACL's and it not like they can just stop the production of their T. Maybe i can still do T and get surgery ?
