I've been working on stepping outside my comfort zone more often. I was invited to a bowling outing organized by a local transgender support group, and I was REALLY tempted to skip it. I had a lot of anxiety about it, but I went, I had a good time, and met some cool new people. So it was a day full of WIN (Side note: It's a baby step that isn't very visible, but my gf painted my toenails last night... In Seahawks blue, of course).

Also, I bowled a 95, then a 103. So I was making progress there, too! :)

Sounds like you're a better bowler than I am.  Congratulations with working on your comfort zone!
Sometimes I blog things

Of course I'm sane.  When trees start talking to me, I don't talk back.

Nice scores.  Baby steps is the best way to move forward.

It does not take courage or bravery to change your gender.  It takes fear of living one more day in the wrong one.~me

I find once you complete one baby step do another and another. Just keep pushing yourself out of your comfort zone and keep your eyes on where you want to be at 6 months to a year from now helps too.  :)

So glad you were able to have fun and start with steps you are comfortable with. I remember my first time going out as the big girl I really am. I would dress up at home, and severely bend the gender rules with my day to day, but never full out. Me and my Honey Bee (significant other) got all pretty and walked around downtown St. Paul. Wound up at a sports bar of all places, and had some beer and nachos. I didn't care about anything except how pretty I felt and what bathroom to use.

Way to go sweetie. Keep easing your way to be the person you want to be! It feels euphoric to just be yourself.
Just another girl screaming to be herself.

Good to hear and keep on pushing that comfort zone further and further until you notice, that nobody really pays any attention to you, which will happen eventually :)

You guys are really awesome... This encouragement is exactly what I need to keep pushing against the boundaries of my comfort zone. I think once I get one or two more laser sessions done, I might feel ready to try going out in public dressed like a woman... We'll see!
