Attempt 2. Binding and Packing. How do I pass? :)

This topic lately seems to be a lot of reassurance and less constructive criticism- but I think it's good to have a combo of both. So here's my two cents for jacob:

Generally, you have a great masculine build. However your face is andro and could go either way. T will thin out your cheeks, make your jaw more prominent and get you out of the baby face stage. When I see plaid shorts, unless I'm looking at a skinny, goatee-ed hipster dude, I'm probably thinking lesbian-I'm not sure if the cispopulation feels the same, or if it's just the crowd I've run in. Shorts in general tend to emphasize stockiness (especially with me), so I'd recommend loose fit straight jeans, sagged a bit but stabilized with a belt to cover the hips.

Also, I think you might pass better without the hat- goes better with the grunge style that I think highly attributes to your pass-ability. Of course all this is stereotypical, so take it with a grain of salt and be true to yourself.

cheers.

I agree with Jamison. The shorts aren't working for you. However, as a cyclist, I needed to find something that would work and I found that loose fit cargo shorts work for me, you may just have to shop around a bit.  There definitely is something about plaid that doesn't work I've found. I only own one pair of plaid shorts and it's more a hidden plaid, they look black until you get close up. Lol.  I do own some plaid shirts despite the "rules" but then again, I'm in Canada, home of the lumberjacks, and many guys have plaid shirts so that's fine. But plaid shorts, no. They're rare outside of the hipster crowd.

Female thighs tend to have this thing where they're always in contact with each other just because of fat distribution in this area. Women's shorts work for that fat distribution to sit right, but men's shorts tend to sit badly on female fat distributed hips and thighs and cause this weird thing where they point inwards after the hips which is what I can see happening in this pic with the centre at the crotch sitting funny and the inside lines of the plaid being higher than outside. You get away with a lot more in pants but shorts are definitely a tough one with female fat distribution. Some get lucky, but for the most part, nope :(.

The hat thing I agree with too. The hat says hip hop and then you get to a pistols tee and think, "WTF?"  but that's more style than passibility, although avoiding second looks always helps lol.

Can't really tell you if you pass or not looking like that. If you're asking if the fake beard passes, no. Definitely not.

Well...I think you definitely have some masculine attributes, the beard just isn't one of them quite yet. It's definitely a cute attempt though. :P

The haircut is great, I think the glasses really obscure the any feminine or soft aspects of your cheeks and your jaw is good. For a pre-T shot, you're well on your way! Welcome to Susan's cutie :D

I have posted in this thread before, but I have now been on testosterone for four and a half months and I lost a bit of weight, so I wanted to make an update and get some of you guys's opinions. If it helps, I am really young, although I cannot state my exact age on here.

Since you said you were really young, I would say, you might pass for 11 -12 year old. The last picture (without make up and hairspray or gel or whatever) is your best shot as far as passing. Your hair is great (and enjoy it while you can brother) but the length/style throws me off. Maybe try a different cut and less styled. All of this will matter very little though in a few more months one T.  Also, the angles of your shots make it difficult and i find that angle feminizing. it de emphasizes the chin and emphasizes the eyes.

Great job getting on T at such a young age and great job with your weightloss.

Thank you for your constructive feedback. :)
Also, it's kind of difficult to judge without hearing my voice. I dress very effeminately, so my voice is usually my saving grace when it comes to passing as male.

LocustBlotter I'd say you pass perfectly on the last pic (not so perfectly  in the first two, but more like "almost" in those). You don't look that young to me either but that's maybe because kids in my country grow slower, I'd say you could look as old as 16/17, or as young as 14/15 but definitely not 11/12 in my experience, but again that  varies a lot among countries, most  american 13/14 year olds look as if they were in their 20's to me xD. Loved the clockwork orange outfit too.

Ok, so, here's a couple pictures of me.  Got nothing fancy going on here, this is just how I generally look on a daily basis.  I know I'm far from passing, but I'm not sure what I should do to help with that?  I have been told my face is too feminine, and my eyes are too "pretty", and my lips are too pink. XD  Curses...  And yeah,  I know the hair doesn't help, buuuut I refuse to cut it any shorter XD.  Suggestions?

You pass in the second picture but in the first picture, I think it's your clothing and glasses and how you're leaning that peg you as female.  I think darker colored clothes help you pass.

You're pretty cute Kai, it is what it is, but I second what Malachite said, you could morph into boy-land pretty quickly from where you are right now.

Just wanted to ask about my voice because it's the only thing I feel weird about right now.

but for those of you who don't want to/can't watch videos.

5 months on T. I'm perceived as male in person most of the time. On the phone not so much.

In person, your voice wouldn't give you away at all. On the phone though, like you said, I'd probably be 50/50 if I was on the other line. It sounds deep and masculine, but I've heard cis-females with voices in the same range. Maybe your voice will drop some more in the next few months. :)

Btw, you look great!
