Marc, the image is a bit dark so I can't see your hairstlye but what I do see looks male.

I'm not sure if it's shadows or some trick of makeup but on first glace it looks like you have a chinstrap and 'stache even.

my choices of frames were limited. I mean I was getting them through the Lion's Club cause I have no money or even insurance. Maybe next year when I get my eyes checked, I'll pick different glasses.

No, it's cool. I actually picked them for cosplay reasons. They are similar to a character I plan on cosplaying.

I also had long hair when I originally got them.

Yep i used dark light so that my "applied" facial hair looked more real, here's a different style of facial hair i think it looks more "real"

& i have this hairstyle but shorter

I have always been bad with compliments, let alone know how to respond to them, but again thank you :3 But I have to say, the purple highlights actually look pretty darn awesome.

Well, judging from the picture, I would say a pass. Also, if the lighting stays pretty much the same through out, I would not worry at all.

I think the facial hair in the first pic looks more realistic, Marc...the second (with the full beard) doesn't imo though.

Marc, I agree with Birkin, the beard/chin strap in the first pic looks much more realistic than the full beard. In that pic there was NOTHING that would have made me think you were female (I of course assume you are going to have similar lightning when you're going to use your webcam? Cause otherwise we can't really judge from this)
Anyway, I would not worry too much. You look good and a 100% male. Especially in the first pic with the chinstrap beard.

@ReaverMarcus: You don't pass to me. Your cheeks are pretty feminine. You do look fairly androgynous so if you live in an area that doesn't have a lot of queer/gender nonconforming folk, you may pass to them.

Just got a new hair cut today. I like the length, I think, though maybe I would have liked a little more on top [but hair grows, amiright?]. My problem is that I don't know what to do with it. There is some pomade in it now but should I style it in any way? Comb it forward? To the side? Also the tree/building shadows make it look like I have cleavage. Awkward.

The way the shirt shadows. I was in theatre and tended to work with the costumes.
