Thanks for the replies, everyone! :)

Jason: I agree with everyone else, you pass better in the second picture with your hair pulled back. I think the reason might be that most guys with long hair tend to groom it very very nicely (from what I see anyway), so just letting your hair fall wherever, like in the first picture, might work against you. Combing and tying it up would therefore help you pass? Purely my personal observation and experience, may or may not be true.

Kam: your face seems somewhat androgynous, but your hairstyle and arm muscles definitely swing it into the masculine side.

I know I'm a little more on the feminine side, which I'm fine with. People are beginning to stop misgendering me, if ever so slowly. Still, I get nervous. I want to be attractive to guys as a masculine guy, which I'm afraid won't happen as I appear more female.
Thoughts?

I'm only one week on testosterone, but I thought I'd join in on the fun!

I passed for the first time yesterday while going to the gym! I was walking in with my girlfriend and we asked for a locker. He looked at us and asked whether we needed a male (for me) or female (for her) locker. I was so shocked that I couldn't speak and my girlfriend said, "Oh the locker is for me!" I don't know how that happened, but it was the best feeling I've had in a long time. I'm only nineteen, so here's to hoping that T will give me good results down the road. :)

Jason, I agree that your hair works against you, but for the rest do you look pretty male/andro. I totally understand your feelings regarding your dreads, I had them too, half a year ago, and was very attached to them. Eventually I just felt like it was time for a change, added to that I felt like they hindered my passing I cut them all off. I regret it a bit, but at the time it was the right descision. I descided I'll take new dreads once I'm on T and pass consistently as male, which will probably take around 3 to 4 years from what I've seen from the waiting lists and all.

Harpatho, you pass to me as an andro/not uber masculine guy

Sir John Tristan, you DEFINITELY pass to me. You just look like any other guy.

Jason, I actually think your dreads read as pretty masculine, and you already pass fine to me. You've got thick manly eyebrows, and your little mona lisa half smile isn't super girly or anything. Rock those dreads buddy!

Be weird. Be random. Be who you are. Because you never know who would love the person you hide.

yeah, IMO you look more fem in the picture with your hair pulled back, cause it just makes me think of a girls pony tail.  Your face is really andro and it could swing both ways. I think once you are on T its gonna really transform your face and you are going to look very passable, handsome male, not that you aren't attractive now, you know what I mean.

Yeah you really do look like a young guy tbh. No wonder he asked :)

I agree! He looks like a young guy indeed. I never would have thought any different

When I look at your pictures, I would think you are a guy, but with a face that is feminine. I dont think people would go, was he a woman before. Most people dont think that unless it is blatenly obvious as it doesnt go through their minds. I will give you the same advice I was given, be patient, result will come in time. and T will help a lot as time goes on.

I think everyone I've seen on here passes to me, or is at least well on the way! I've never posted on a thread like this and I'm glad to have found such a great group of guys.

You look awesome, easily pass for sure :)

My turn. Tell it to me straight, folks:

I think you have a lot of potential. I'm honestly commenting because of the La Dispute hoodie though.
Meow.

I got called he/him the other day when getting my prescription for meds at the pharmacy. I am pre T and my current legal name/birth name is feminine only. I must be passing well?

You have nothing to worry about, Devon. I wouldn't think twice if I saw you on the street.

Ohh... well, it takes a bit of courage to put these up here..
In my experience, I've gotten a few "he"'s and "him"'s, but I don't expect to pass a lot. I just got a trim, so my hair looks a little awkward (sorry about that).

(and yes, my ears are naturally weird like that :P I was born with them like that, and they eventually developed a little more as I matured)

I would peg you as a very young guy, but most definitely a pass

Maleth, you pass 100% to me - you don't look female at all.  You do look really young, maybe around 12-15.

Maleth, you look very much like my younger brother. I'd perceive you as a boy or young man.
