There's nothing you can do about losing fat in your face if you're not on T. 

As for passing, I'd say you pass as a very young boy in these photos.

But...for the record and IMHO...I don't like it when people post photos with them making silly faces and asking if they pass - because it's not an accurate reflection of how well you pass as opposed to "straight-faced".

One thing I see is the sideburns.....could just be how the hair is laying but in the side view they appear to taper to a bit of a point. I was thinking that squaring them off might help a bit since that's the "typical" male way even for young young guys or boys.

Alright so...I got a hair cut the other day and today I looked at myself (I usually avoid mirrors). I sorta thought the cut wasn't right for me. Too short, wrong shape, made my face look rounder. On top of that, I recently had to trim my facial hair so now it's very short and not so awesome looking. So, I'm prettysureim seen as male but haven't run into enough people between then and now to know.



This is just a head on mugshot with my everyday kind of appearance. I'm also just showing what my face looks like mostly relaxed.

You look male, Nygeel. I think if anyone misgendered you, it would be because they weren't looking closely enough and went by your height alone (I remember you saying you're a shorter guy). In terms of the haircut, I did like some of your longer ones better on you, but this one still looks good and shouldn't get you misgendered.

Think you Marcel, I appreciate the feedback. I've been meaning to setup the apppoint with a local therapist of my choice but lately I've gotten distracted with school, work, and such. So hopefully over the summer I'll be able to spare some time.

Me too actually. In fact, will be coming out to my parents next week and then start looking for a therapist to get the letter.

That's good to hear hopefully all will go well in the future and good luck on coming out your parents. I know when I came out to my mom not once but twice I was scared out of my mind. Fortunately for me all turned out well in the end.

Woops I thought I replied to this but thanks a TON everyone! You all seriously boosted my confidence an insane amount. Got me feeling like a total boss. My binder came in the mail super fast but I haven't got the guts to wear it in public yet.

Although, after reading all your wonderful comments again I've got this huge urge to bite the bullet and try it out on my next day off.

I don't always pass that well I think and sometimes when being asked for my name and I state it, I get weird looks. But, there are times when store clerks and such do use male pronounces. But, with having to have gotten a new piercing, I wanted to ask you all what you think?
