Wearing a binder. Does this swim outfit look at all right?

Go for it Mac, that would be my plan if and when I go swimming again, although I do have some 1960's era Hawaiian swim trunks with a light and dark blue floral design. I'd bind too as I don't look the least bit passable as a female and I'm not into the wet T shirt thing.

Your chest is not showing at all, from what I can see. Very much so a manly pass. Keep at it, Ryan.
Once you've lost everything, you're free to do anything.

You look great, Ryan and wearing black always helps. You would need to give us a side  pic for us to really be able to say, though.

Ok I haven't read everything in this thread, but I'd like to know if I pass...I'm pre-everything, even pre-binder because I just ordered one and it hasn't arrived yet. Honest and detailed opinions please, I'm really curious to know if I could pass :)

katnip, I wouldn't say you pass in that picture based on your expression and stuff. i would just assume queer, female born, and that's it. Maybe practice your facial expressions in the mirror, see what makes you look the most male? I feel like it makes a difference with me. The way I carry myself and the look on my face effects how I'm perceived.

ryan- it always amazes me how well you pass

katnip- I know when I really smile I don't pass. I think you have the same issue. It's a nice smile but it gives you away. Are you planning to take T eventually?

ok, I'm hating it being summer and feeling like I don't pass at all

alright, I'm not really hating that it's summer but it's spiking up the dysphoria

Dang server rollback...
Katnip: I'd honestly say no. Unfortunately, your face looks pretty heart-shaped in that picture (wide jaw to narrow chin), which is typically a "female" characteristic. Your hairline, as well, seems a bit feminine. And your expression doesn't help with the "manliness". I'd take a picture with a slack face next time and see where to go from there.
The first two problems, unfortunately, you can't do much about without hormones. And I'm sure you don't want to go around glowering at people all the time. I'm sorry I don't have much advice in way of passing tips.
Good luck with the binder, though! I'm sure it'll help a lot.

Christopher: I definitely see male there.
The more I know, the more I know I don't know.

Katnip- I think my response got eaten in the great server meltdown. I think you should smile as you naturally would. You have a nice smile! I do think you'd need a more masculine face to pull off the swooped up bangs and cocked back cap. I'd say try some other hair styles. And don't worry about not smiling :)

Maleah- I think I've said this before... You could be the twin to my 16 year old brother (a good looking guy!). I imagine you're older than that, but T should assist with making you look more adult.

Oh! So that's what it was.. I was wondering why I couldn't connect to Susan's yesterday. Seems like my post got eaten up too. Oh well. Anyways, I posted a few pictures on Sunday but I wanted to also post one in a different angle with me smiling since it seems like that can make or break some guys' pass-ability (the stereotype is that men tend to be more unemotional so I can see where that stems from). I'm a person that either smiles a lot or looks dead serious, just depends what situation I'm in... the latter being more common.

[Pre-T]

You definitely pass as male, no question. You look like 14-15.
