Finally bit the bullet and shaved all my hair off! Halfway through, I almost talked myself out of it, and considered just leaving my bangs in a sort of Rhianna style, but I knew just cutting it all off would push me into the transition process that I so desperately need to start.
I've got the typical beginner ftm look, but hopefully once my eyebrows finish growing in, I'll look a little better.
I've only cut women's hair my entire life (besides buzz cuts and mohawks), so I was terrified trying something so new on myself, when I can't even see the back of my head. But I managed to find a way to blend the different sizes together pretty easily. The only place I REALLY had trouble was the hair on the top of my head. I could NOT see to trim them with scissors. =__= Maybe next time I'll try an even cut allover, or a really short mohawk. Not sure yet.
Also, as for the second picture, anyone got any ideas as to what to do with my piercings? As much as I hate to do it, I need to lose whatever face bling is holding me back from looking more masculine. I'm thinking about taking out my second holes, then maybe gagging the third holes up to like a 4 or a 2, but I don't know about the others. Also, I realize my current gages are ridiculously feminine. I hate them. They're just temporary until I can find tapers up to the next size. I have a pair of green silicone ones that don't have that huge rim to them, I just need to go a little bigger to get them in. Oh, and my septum is now the bigger one in the second picture. The smaller on is waaayyyyy too femme. And I'm fairly certain I need to get rid of my nose stud. I can't find a ring that looks good, and the gemmed stud just screams female. Luckily that's one I pierced myself, so I know I can just redo it if I want it back.
