I got my degree in the mail today.  My mother was super proud of me and she wants me to go further and get a Bachelor's degree.  I doubt I will do that.  Plus if I did, then my chosen school is private, which means more debt.  I don't have time to get into that kind of debt when I have top surgery to consider.

Speaking of top surgery, I let those words slip out of my mouth earlier around my sisters.  We were in the car and saw a man beggining for money and I man gave him some and I told her a good panhanlder can rack about $30,000 a year tax free and that I need to get into that business to pay for top surgery.  When I realize I said that I said "I mean....Anime Expo."  Luckily for me, they didn't say anything so I'm thinking they didn't even hear what I said.   Gosh, first my nephew getting a hold of my packer and waving it around my sister and now this?



I hope I am able to get a new diploma when I change my name in the far future.

So the work dress code allows for 'moderate' jewelry, and one nose stud is the only facial jewelry allowed. It makes no mention of visible tattoos or hair color. I'm not going to be getting more visible tattoos, but I really want to bleach my hair and get my septum pierced. I'm thinking I could probably get away with this if I wore septum jewelry that could be flipped up for work...

Also, everyone I've met at this new job remembers my name perfectly. I don't know if it's because they're all fantastic with names or if I just stick in their minds as the only severely queer-looking person in the building.

That coat is too expensive for me. If I look around Value Village though, I may be able to put together a costume for the 11th doctor. Not yet, however. I've got a list of other projects first. Also, if I do that before getting a crush on a Whovian, then it will be much less romantic.
