I think it comes from feeling more like a taker than a giver.  I'm usually soaking in a lot of advice but I just don't have much experience to give any.  I guess I feel more like a freeloader at times.
I feel this way too.

Ahh, I remember that feeling.

Just remember there will be people who transitioned before you and one day there will be people who transitioned after you. Then you guys will have the knowledge to pass down.

I need some sort of machine to make me turn 18 now so I can leave and start actually transitioning instead of being stuck with this half-prepubescent body and things on my chest and a parent who thinks that me living here means she should rule over every single tiny aspect of my life as if I'm not a person, but a piece of property to be divvied up however she pleases.

Looking on the internet to find things to do with Keaira. I'm going to be there only from May 31 to June 8. I'm actually pretty pumped, looks like there's some cool things we could do but I have to check in with her on everything still (hint if you see this come online :P).

Just finished a brutal 4 hour long Zoning Board meeting, I think our billion something dollar project is going to get voted down due to a lack of basic science skills. Our expert witness: "physics is physics". Its amazing how such huge decisions lay in the hands of people who just don't understand.

I finally drafted my coming out email to my dad and the 'send' button awaits. :icon_hover-alien: :icon_rah: It only took me two years to get this far. :P

Ah go Liam! I hope it goes well if you hit "send".

Hopefully I can start to get the ball rolling after the summer so I can help quicker.

I'm thinking about the cruise that my favorite lesbian web show is having.  If I wasn't saving for top surgery I would definately go.  Who am I kidding?  I still probably wouldn't go since my parents and sisters would ask prying questions and would demand to know.  I'm of legal age so I don't have to tell them anything but still, it would be awkward since I live with my mom.  "Oh yes my conservative mother, I'm going on a cruise with a bunch of women who play lesbian actresses and it's going to be lesbians there and speed dating and a good time."  Even if I did go, I'd be going alone and that's not fun.

I'm going to stick with the top surgery reason.  It makes me seem more noble, dedicated and determined than "mother won't let me".

Noooo I can't go on this cruise.  That would set me back several hundred dollars for top surgery.  I need to focus on my priorities. PRIORITIES PRIORITIES PRIORITIES PRIORITIES.  Keep your eyes on the goal Malachite!

Haha, something tells me you're awful with money. Just think of what you'll appreciate more 5 years down the road.

Right now I'm thinking I sing pretty well to a Bon Jovi song now. I love how my voice is changing.  :D

I did it.

oh crap :icon_zombie:

thanks LearnedHand, I'll just hide in my massive knitting project for a while, it seems safe in there.  You remember we have the same book, Alice Starmore Aran Knitting?  I'm doing the St Ciaran one, about sixty-some percent finished.

Thatseems like a great place to hide, show pictures when you're done. I had to take a break from mine, but I am at the armholes now. I am hoping to watch some British detective shows this weekend and get it further along. BTW, what yarn are you using? Store bought or one you spun yourself?

Some people need to write better error messages:

QuoteError displaying the error page: Application Instantiation Error

Of course I'm sane.  When trees start talking to me, I don't talk back.

If I were to write error messages, it'd be along the line of "Oh sh**, you broke it, dumbass!"   "Well, that kind of sucked, didn't it?"  Stuff like that.

That's still more helpful than "Error displaying the error page" ...

Wondering how the movie, "The Great Gatsby" is going to be and if I'm going to be able to see it.

My dad emailed that he still loves me.  We'll call it a win but my middle name is still paranoid.

I am feeling very icky and strung-out and I'm blaming it on hormones.  I had to wind down my T for surgery and I've been off it entirely for over a week.  I haven't felt this shade of disgusting in some time.  But surgery in thirteen days so I'm going to put a sock in it and be happy instead :D

Such good news about your dad's response, they usually raise a little hell before caving so you're ahead of the curve on that issue.

Best wishes on your surgery, guess you'll be losing a couple of unwanted pounds. Got someone lined up to look after the critters while you're recovering?

Glad he gave you a positive response. :)

Congrats on surgery! You're going to be soooo happy, so while having to lay off T for awhile sucks and throws everything out of whack it'll be worth it in just a few weeks.
