I think our client got cat ashes and her moms body was thrown in the dump.

Oh, that's a lawsuit.

I'm thinking the next cis person who asks "How'd ya get the name Simon" (I guess it IS uncommon in the Southern USA...but it can't be THAT uncommon) is getting a size 11 Nike shoved in their mouth.

I didn't exercise this morning, trying to decide if I should force a workout in now since I am late in getting home since I swung by to check out that creepy place. . . Oh no, lazy day, maybe I'll just workout twice on Memorial Day.

That would drive me crazy!

The GTA V collector's edition suck.

What do you get for an extra $80?  Blueprints....a hat....a bag....a box....and some DLC.

$80 can buy me another game

Well, are you going to tell us how you got it or not?

Wtf, I've always thought Simon was a nice name, and certainly nothing out of the ordinary. That being said, I've been told that Caleb is apparently an unusual name. I don't hear it all over the place, sure, but it's far from unusual and unheard of. =/ And it's a classic name too, not one of these newer ones popping up. same deal with the name Simon. So who knows.

I am thinking about getting a hair cut. I want something manly but where I won't look horrible while in girl mode at work. I am thinking something like this would be perfect:

My mom chose it out of a list of names I gave her that I could live with. I had a hard time picking a name and court was a few days away so she got to pick it.

I just tell cis people she's really religious (which isn't a lie) and named me after Simon in the Bible.

Really? Caleb is a typical name...I always though. I think people ask me because of my location. I get asked how I got it or if my parents are British. Simon is a name from the Middle Ages but not typical here. I am very glad it hasn't become a typical transguy name yet though (like Aiden, Kaiden, etc).

I can see how that could be gender neutral (without the sideburns).

I'm so used to clicking on "skip ad" on Youtube that I skipped an ad I was actually interested in watching.  Oh well, it will come back around.

I picked Caleb in 2009, and have found over the last year or so it's becoming more of a typical trans guy name...lol. There are also what Keaira calls "bastardized" versions of spelling for Caleb spreading around too. :P Oh well, it's also meaning that a lot of moms are naming their babies Caleb now, so it will be seen as a nice name I suppose.

Get Ad Block Plus as an add on to your browser and never see those pesky ads again (I sound like an infomercial).

Haha, it's a free add on that I've had for years and love. It's not buggy at all either.

...if my parents get approved to live on base, 30 days after they move on I have to leave or my dad needs to seek special permission for me to stay with them.  These means there's a good chance I won't have a home.  ->-bleeped-<- you, life.

I am thinking we need a Tech section here on Susan's because I need someone to help me with all my tech problems. Like. . . I have outlook on my computer, but why can't I check my work e-mail which uses Outlook on my computer at home? And, why did the IRS website die on me today in the middle of applying for an EIN? And, how do I download my Pimsleur stuff onto my smartphone?

I wish I just lived in a tree sometimes.

I just dislodged what I can only describe as a possibly-sapient Scylla from my shower drain. It was basically negating the need of the drain cover for drawing a bath.

Long hair, soap, conditioner... WAI?!?

My mother hates it when I sell things on Craigslist because of the stories she hear.  I know she's scared for me but I tell her that bad things can happen anywhere.  Also, I take the proper precautions in order to minimize safety risks.  I usually meet at my school or at Walmart or sometimes at the corner store around me.  I also carry an improvised weapon just in case.  When I can, I have my sister or my father go with me.  When no one can go with me I let my sister know exactly where I'm going and at what time and what I'm selling.  When the emails are visible, I run them through Facebook and on the internet to find as much info about them as I can.  I can't live in a box and be scared of the what-ifs.  I've made over $100 doing Craigslists sales and have met some very friendly people.  That would be $100 less I'd have for top surgery if I just lived in a box.  I've only had one negative experience but even then, I didn't feel like my life was in danger.  I know I can't reduce safety risks by 100 percent but that's a risk I'm willing to take.  My mom said that she would just rather give me the money to stay safe but I know she wouldn't.  That would get too pricey.

I think, with the precautions you mentioned, it's  very safe all in all. But it's nice that your mother is concerned for your well-being. :)
