Agreed!  I wonder if I could somehow squeak in top surgery by that time so I could possibly go shirtless.

I doubt I'll go shirtless or if I do it won't be for long. Too paranoid about my scars turning permanently red if they get burnt.

Are we both insomniacs?

Caleb and I had a late dinner at the Waffle House where we chatted some more. Then we went to Walmart to get him snacks and food, etc. I had a great time with him. The hotel he is staying at has a gym and a swimming pool. I keep looking at the pool because I dont get to swim very often. I think Caleb and I are going to swim for a bit tomorrow maybe.

I saw you eyeing that pool so many times, and if you don't go of your own accord, I will pressure you. ;) You can't live life on the outside looking in.

Just finished writing about today in the travel journal. I'm very happy right now. Today was so nice. Despite the stressful flight, I met a very nice woman at one of the airports and we had a nice conversation, the flight from Toronto to Indianapolis was very low-key, simple, beautiful. I was lucky enough to get two seats all to myself. And of course meeting Keaira in person has been very nice. She's just exactly the same in person as she is online, which is a good thing.

I am also amazed at how cheap stuff is in America. Seriously, a lot of food and toiletries are half price what they are in Canada!!

You two look so happy. I hope you have a great visit...now get off the computer and spend time with each other, lol.

Can you post a video of the visit? (If anything's a more substantial representation of presence than a photo, a video is it)
Don't lose who you are along the path to who you want to be.

I mean, not if it's uncomfortable - just if y'all want to say hi to all of us remote folks.

Liminal Stranger

Yay, correcting people. Several times yesterday some kids who sort of know me but not really and were told that I was a girl referred to me with female pronouns, so I replied with "Hey, who're you callin' a she?" and got apologies every time :3

Then my mom outed me to strangers. Twice. In the space of an hour. Her defense?
"It's normal to refer to people in the third person." So why is this wrong? Let me list the reasons:
-The first time in the restaurant, the guy was asking me, not you, if I had peanut allergies.
-The second time in the parking lot, there was absolutely no need to say anything at all, I was giving the guy his tip without you telling him that I was doing that and then telling me to.
-You know I despise the pronouns you insist on using, Mom.

Then today was just full of nonsense, I loathe the collegeboard and the fact that the proctors feel the need to call people "ladies" every two seconds. Starting to wonder if it's possible to get being trans on file if I attach it to my 504 with a note from the therapist so I can get some kind of accommodation involving not being misgendered constantly while I'm trying to concentrate on a test since I already have a focusing disorder. Frak you, testing  >:(

On a lighter note, great to see you two are having a nice time!

I can't wait to get on T.  Well, actually I can and I am but I'm excited about it.

Kinda creepy thinking that people actually think that you're ok and probably pretty nice after all, oh well!

For me it was odd. I think the build up of getting on T was more exciting than being on it. You get your first shot and then it's "now what". Then the results are so gradual they just kinda seem to sneak up on you.

I'm thinking it's Miller time. I'm also thinking I wish I would have vacuumed and mopped yesterday so I didn't have to tonight. Getting a new dryer delivered tomorrow and promised the gf I would clean up a little. It looks like we have a toddler with all of the pet toys scattered throughout the house, lol.

A lesbian couple in the next lane decided to stare at me on my drive home.

I think (hope) they were only angry about my bumper stickers, but... you never know.

Ok... Kids, cover your ears.

I don't see a problem with either of them, and the second one is definitely a keeper. But there are those with thin skins and no sense of humor.  :icon_peace:
