Something like the Sorting Hat?
Yes except without the face and a different colour.

I bought a Furby at Walmart, since I never got one as a kid. Keaira and I put the batteries in and it started off as a cute, giggling baby...then minutes later, grew up into a diva. :( I don't know what we did wrong. Well, she managed to put it to sleep and it has stayed that way but I do expect it to wake me at some point.

You didnt do anything wrong. Furby's, like children, develop their own personalities. You should be proud of your Furby. It has the courage to be its own self, despite people trying to push it to be something its not. I'm a parent so trust me, a Furby is nothing compared to the challenge of raising a child.
^_^ it was cute though.

I want to come out to my other sister.  That desire is getting stronger, but it isn't the right time yet, especially since I can't do anything about my transition right now.  Also because she's pregnant.  I don't want to put any more stress on her.  I need to wait until I have a license and job so I can work for a while and raise the money.  Also, this is good because when I do tell her and my mother, their argument about my mind being corrupted due to the internet will become weaker since I won't be on it all the time like I am now to keep me sane.

I really want a wide brimmed sorcerer's hat. The problem is I know exactly what I want and can't find it. Curse my wish for non-existent clothing.

What about a Wizzard hat instead?
Sometimes I blog things

Of course I'm sane.  When trees start talking to me, I don't talk back.

I'd like something a little less flashy, but would like to add that you have excellent taste.

I wonder if I should set up a consultation in Aug. with Dr. Garramone, even though my actual top surgery will still be some years away.  Probably not, but I want to slowly move foward.....especially before his prices rise some more.

After watching my dog do the circle dance(about 8 turns) when I gave him a new knotted bone rawhide thingy, now I'm wondering why dogs do that?  Do they have an innate need to entertain us when we reward them or what? Maybe I should google it...

He was probably thrilled and since he couldn't tell you that, it was the second best way to let you know.

Funny, but I have a Furby as well, don't know what got into me but I thought it was so cute that I had to have one!  :icon_redface:

Got today and tomorrow off, then work Friday and then the weekend off. This four day work week stuff is pretty good and the way I get days off at the end of the pay week and then off at the beginning of the next one makes it good too.

I just wish I felt better, but I probably will by tonight or morning. Just tired from too much stupid crap the last week.

So what happened to the jerk that failed to do his clean-up and left you in a world of sh*t?

He's part time, so she hasn't even talked to him yet. He was talking about giving his two weeks the last several days before that, so it will likely cement his decision if he gets written up. Unfortunately, when you have to make sure shifts are covered and you have a very limited pool of people, its tough to enforce much, but hopefully we will get some new applicants going shortly, hope so anyway. A few have expressed interest in applying and just got some applications from the main office yesterday finally.

Must be kind of agonizing for you and the lady boss as well, hope you can find a real keeper, good luck!

When I say I don't believe in gender roles, for some reason, this makes people who claim to also not believe in gender roles think that I will understand what they're saying when they reference The Paperbag Princess. I wish no one had explained the reference to me because I feel like they ruined the book.
I liked it when the princess rescues the prince because he was taken by the dragon. I liked it when she said she wouldn't marry him after all because he was a bum. I don't like when she does what she does as some sort of comment on ridiculous crap people keep insisting on paying attention to. If one doesn't believe in gender roles, one should stop pretending they exist.

I'm eagerly anticipating my name change certificate and anxiously anticipating having to tell people I haven't told before.

I'll lose more money in the end since I will be tempted to keep spending so I can spend time with her lol!
