I respect you for your hard charging, let's get-er-done approach and your cute relationship with your buddy girl. You'll be more outgoing when you get the latitude to put some of the other BS to rest that you have to deal with now.

Thank you Shantel. :) It'll also give me the ability to move, or at the very least more job selection, as my schedule will be freed up and I won't have anything tying me to my city anymore.

Got to breathe a huge sigh of relief today...

My gf's biopsy results came back and it is benign.

Now just waiting for her to have surgery to remove her thyroid June 30th. We can deal with that, easy peasy.

I'm really glad Simon! I'd have felt awful if you all had to deal with something more serious.

A few horrifying things hit me when I woke up. I'm going to my grandparents farm, but as they don't have running water...we shower in town. Well, said showers are sex segregated. Given I pass almost all the time, I am guessing the women's are just out of the question. Lol. And the men's....well, there are curtains, but should anything go wrong I do NOT want to be caught in there with boobs and a vag.

The other is that, my grandparent's friends found out I was transgender last year, but kept using my old name. I may have to have a discussion with them about that, because no one else uses the old name, and I don't want to be seen as a man in town and then have someone call me one of the most feminine names known to man.

I'd choose not to go but my mom said this may be the last year we have the farm. :( My grandparents think it's too much for them. My grandpa is grouchy af, and my grandma does all the cooking and cleaning, and all that without electricity is getting to be a real burden. My grandpa doesn't want to install electricity either because he doesn't do any of the work, so he doesn't see the importance.

That sounds like the sort of thing is be worrying myself sick over for ages and then get there and it turn out completely fine as I'm sure it will with you.

Thanks, you're probably right. :) We're leaving in about an hour and I'm not packed, I should be more concerned about that lol.

My mom knows another town with a golf course that has showers that aren't segregated, and have locks on the doors. So there's one issue resolved.

As for the name issue...well we will see. That's a request I hate making and tbh, I forgot that there was anyone who still calls me that. So I kind of thought that horrible part was over. :P

I'm looking into buying a mopad so I can have some type of transportation at all times.  Otherwise looking for a job only limited to public transportation can be constrictive.

Do you ever get the feeling you are being ignored by others... have been getting that feeling for a while now.

We all get that feeling at times, don't let it bother you. Many people read our posts and few comment, it is usually not meant as an intentional slight.

I agree with Shantel.  Oftentimes some people just don't know what to say.  I'm one of those people.  I even have trouble replying to those who replied to me because I just don't know what to say.

I'm still thinking about getting a moped.

My mother said she'd rather help get me a car than for me to pay for a moped myself. Hmmm

I hope Caleb has a happy and uneventful weekend. I guess I will be playing a lot of star trek online or Halo 4 since I wont have Caleb to chat with. :(

Thanks everyone, I've been feeling really down lately with this whole job search thing, it's made me really exhausted. Guess it's just one of those  days...

There's a Star Trek online?!

A car would be better if your thinking about it in terms of getting to work, you won't have to find somewhere for your helmet or bring a change of clothes and you won't be fussed about the weather much either. Although the moped would be cheaper to run...I don't know what the weathers like where you live anyways it may always be bright and sunny lol

Typically the weather here has it's fair share of sunshine and rain (though it has been raining a lot lately).

I'm bad at driving though so even if I did get a car and license, I would still seek to take public transportation if I can.  Parking a moped would be so much easier.  Also trying to keep my top surgery in mind with having a car and the price of keeping it.
