In response to a discussion I had on this board, I wanted to present a brief fact sheet regarding penis size. I think it's so easy for us to overestimate what an average penis is. Alot of us did not grow up being naked around other men (IE the locker room) so unless we have had a lot of sexual experience with males, we might not know what penis sizes are the most realistic. Now, none of this is about preference because when you buy a sexual prosthetic you might want the biggest your partner can handle. Thats a different story. Knowing the facts may help you with picking out your packer and eventually even assist you if you decide to have surgery.

Average Flaccid penis size - 3.5 - 3.9 inches

Average Erect length

5-6 inches is average erect penis length worldwide.

When medical professionals measure the subjects erection, the average is under 6 inches, when the subjects measure themselves, the average is over six inches.

The longest penis on record belongs a man named Jonah Falcon whose penis is 13.5 inches.

Penis girth
The avereage penis girth is between 4.9 and 5.1 inches.

It is interesting to note that women report enjoying more girth as oppose to more length. The vagina can only lengthen a limited amount to accomodate a penis, and while there are exceptions, most women find it painful for a penis to hit her cervix repeatedly. On the other hand, the vagina has more capacity for girth.

foot size /hand size/ height
There is no definitive correlation between heigh foot or hand size and the penis. There is also no correlation between flaccide size and erect size.

Black Guys
The stereotype that black guys are more well endowed than white guys is somewhat true. The kinsey study concluded that black men where on average 1/10th of an inch (2.5mm)  longer than white guys. The difference may be minor, but it does exist.

Other things to keep in mind
You have to be really careful when researching online. Many websites will flat out lie about the average in an attempt to sell some sort of penis enhancing bs.

The testicles actually make up most of the bulk of a guys 'bulge'.

This is very interesting information, and is very useful for those who are trying to be as normal as possible.

I recently read a topic on here about penis size which grabbed my attention. While it is true that these are the medically recorded averages, some of us dont really care to be average. Some of us not only get dysphoria about not having a penis, but how big or small that penis is that we do have. I personally cannot pack under 5" daily. Usually i cannot pack under 6" but i found that the Sailor 2 looks and feels decent enough. I also prefer to have a pack and play packer that i use for daily packing, as i am a very sexual person. And me and my partner pretty much have sex as often as we can. So i possible, i try to have a 7/8" pack n play.

I understand that these are not the "averages" but in my experiences they are. I am a high school student(well in a week im not), who has been in male locker rooms, and a majority of those were closer to 4-5" flaccid. I am also hearing from alot of younger people that they have experienced similar things.

While it is true that girth can be better for vaginal penetration. Length does play a key role in things. My current partner is more about the length than the girth. 8" is perfect for her. And it is my ideal size as well. This is mostly because she loves oral sex and ->-bleeped-<-s and such. And too much girth makes oral sex very difficult. If i have a penis any smaller than 7" she refuses to do anything with it, as it is unsatisfying to her.
She is not the only woman which i have had this experience with, or have heard it happening with. So for me it just makes sense to go bigger. I also know how to pack so that it doesnt look like im packing a 7-8 inch penis. When i talk to my cis-friends and they ask which one i hve on today ( anormal question in my group of friends) and i tell them, they are always amazed because you cant even tell that i am "packing heat" so to speak.

I guess my whole point in this is saying that while there are averages, there are also people who dont like those averages. They may feel that they would have been more or less  well endowed had they been cis. Or they just prefer a certain size. Or whatever. If someone prefers to have a 2" penis, or a 9" penis, who are we to tell them they are wrong?

Many times people who hear of other packing sizes rather than the 3.5 or the 4 or whatever, tend to say something along the lines of "well the average is ###", There is this radiating feel of unapproval from the community as a whole from people who deviate from those averages. And there shouldnt be. A man should be able to have whatever size of penis he is most comfortable with and not have to worry about what his "brothers" are thinking about how hes doing things.

I apologize for the rant but this has something that i have seen consistantly, even on this board and i felt it was time it was addressed.

I hear you loud and clear about not wanting to be average. Per my request, my phalloplasty is above average in both length and girth. I just figured I have enough against me, why not give myself an advantage? I have no feelings (positive or negative) towards bros who pack a 6 inches or bros who pack 3. The point of my post was not to insult guys who dont adhere to the norm, rather to encourage us to see that (just like cismales) we may be over estimating penis size in general. I think we often feel inadequate in many ways and simply knowing what is average, can be really beneficial in our development as men.

There is a guy I know who is creating prosthetics locally (and if they are ever for sale they are quite nice) but anyway he thinks that transguys should think about this more carefully. His thoughts are that esp in the adhere it and wear it kind of prosthetics (as opposed to packers)  they become more a part of you. And transguys are not used to the whole sensation of having something there and so on.

Reel Magik does have the very large ones (8 inches I think).

BTW, he seems to think that there is some evidence that guys are getting larger lately. I don't see that anywhere in your study but it might be true as guys have gotten taller (as have gals actually) and in Westernized countries people have gotten taller. It stands to reason that they are bigger in other areas as well. I think something I have read that higher protein in diets spares more protein for growth.

I think as trans people we can get a "sense" of how large we should be down there, or at least some of do, some of the time, maybe it's easier when you're hard than not.  I've got two strap ons, one that's 6 inches and the other which is thicker and 7 inches.  Despite the 7 inch one being a realistic colour unlike the smaller one, it just doesn't feel or look right to me.  Even beneath the sheets the fact that it's so long just looks wrong.  6 inch feels right, and I don't care that it's the small side of average.

As for what women like, I've never used the larger one on my girlfriend because it feels wrong to me, and it's too much of struggle to get it into my harness due to it's extra girth.  She's used it on me before, and there was no way I could take it all.  The girth was nice, but having your innards smashed around wasn't.  If I wanted that I'd go and modify a pogo stick.

According to most studies, 6 inches is the large size of average or above average. But yes, you also bring up and excellent point that it is our connection with our body that matters.

Also pogo stick. Lol.

Thanks for posting this  because it is difficult to navigate reality with the the junk size. Also, it allows me to understand and appreciate how above average I will be.

One of the things that annoys me about soft packers is that they tend to be really long, and want to stick straight out. It's hard to find anything that's like 3-3.5 inches and hangs normally.

WorkerBeast

I have noticed that, which is why I have found that packing away from the dominate hand reduces my bulge.

I think the shafts of these models (i.e. the Limpy xtra small) are to blame in that they're too light and also non-collapsible in comparison to real penises.

Yeah, it's mainly the non-collapsible issue. Are there any that don't have that problem, but are still <4 inches?

Ah yeah sorry, I even went back and checked your post before I sent mine, but I'm terrible at reading numbers correctly and thought you said 6-7inches.
