I'd recommend electrolysis. I had my entire pubic area cleared with electrolysis before my SRS. Shaving will leave stubble which will not only look off, but feel strange too.

I have them on labia and on the inside of labia. I pull them out. I got used to it and the pain is not more than many other things that that area had to go through... I was first worried if there would be irritation but I have been fine. I´m not so much for shaving but these hairs are annoying. On the outer labia I have used Veet cream. It´s not supposed to be used there but that was the stuff I got at the hospital for hair removal before GRS and I was fine with it and still I didn´t get any bad reaction. But some really can´t use that stuff.

This is going to be really far off for me since there's a long road ahead of me before I actually think about SRS but was it hard to find someone who would do electrolysis on that area?

Yes... it was. Several electrologists in my area refused to do it. Even my regular electrologist I had been going to for about 3 years refused. I had to find another tech in a near by town 1 hour away. Not only may some techs not want to tackle that area due to feeling uncomfortable, many have never removed genital/scrotal hair... and they don't want to try it. Find someone who has done it before, and isn't shy nor uncomfortable doing it. It was well worth the pain, time, and money IMHE.

Thanks for the tip, I saw one place in my area with a review that said the electrologist was trans friendly so I'll have to give that place a visit. I'm currently about to begin removing facial hair and the woman is really nice but it explicitly excludes that area from what she will do for male bodied persons on her website. So we don't have much of a future beyond my face.

If you're looking for an electrologist who has done that repeatedly, consider the transgender specific electrology studio in Dallas called E3000. There are other options, of course. They simply happen to be widely and well known in the community.
