Do you mean underbust?

5'11", 36 B slowly meandering towards a C.
I have noticed, at least when viewed in groups, my ribcage actually looks reasonable w/r/t my height. Not thin, but it looks well-proportioned. And do keep in mind, 36 is an 'average' sized bra. :)

And then, of course, there are the days when it looks absolutely horrible. :(
Don't lose who you are along the path to who you want to be.

Worst sizing system on the planet, but in terms of the straightforward measurement my underbust is just under 31" (@5ft 9.5in).

I am only 5' 4" but my rib cage is 38" so you are fortunate, and I am only an a cup, bra's are practically impossible to find

You're all such little feminine ladies. I'm 5' 7" with a 44" under bra band width. V body type, lean and mean and built like a brick. Not very girly but I've seen a lot worse. What me worry?  :icon_ballbounce:

And yes I agree, I'm a similar measurement but I'm a 34B :P go figure!

I remember in second grade, my teacher's name was Ms. Ross. She was strict, strong, stout, hairy, short hair, etc., etc. I'll never forget as long as I live. We were in class one afternoon on a very normal average day doing our reading assignments. The principle came in very abruptly and informed Ms. Ross her child had been taken to the hospital, no cause was known. She launched into the air and went out the side door of the classroom without using the door knob (yes, she went straight thru the door, busted hinges and all).... I remember thinking first that hopefully her child was ok and second, that is one amazing woman!

It's not about looks kiddos.

I would love to have witnessed that! I played fullback and middle linebacker all four years in HS and worked my butt off to get that way, was nominated HS All American one year. There are some genetics involved and I'll admit that I've had a few tearful moments over it in my new life, but we don't get any do overs.

Mine didn't. But if you're a real tub of lard to begin with and get on a lean diet and exercise regimen then you can lose any fat you might have on your upper rib cage, sometimes back muscles will atrophy a bit. But if you just have a big ribcage like me, the only way that will happen is if you get run over by a bus.  ;D

mine has a little bit from the muscles under the arms towards the back. maybe .5-1" at max. I've also lost a little weight though, so it could just be that like Shantel mentioned.

ymmv. If one was very muscly -inverted triangle status- and had a small frame I bet it would change significantly. I regrettably forgot to measure underbust when I started out, so when I say .5-1" I'm just guessing.

Just checked, and it is actually one of the measurements I took on just prior to starting HRT. Seems I lost 1.2" (okay, say 1", not as if the measurements are going to be 100% accurate anyway). During the same timeframe I lost 3 pounds, going from a BMI just over 19 to just under 19, so I have to assume that the lower circumference is probably more muscle-loss related than anything else.
