Do you pee standing up?

I never liked standing to pee. Even as a young child I preferred sitting.

The ONLY reason ladies don't pee standing is they lack the choice.

When I need to pee the ONLY thing on my mind, is emptying my bladder and making it so I DON'T need to pee.

If I am wearing as usual a shirt and nothing else, I like that I can walk into the bath room and go without a need to do anything other than stand there and pee.

In public I am just interested in peeing and leaving. And it is both easier to just use the penis I am stuck with and go the easy way and not agonize over it. Granted, if I am wearing a dress, I am likely going to use the ladies room and sit. But then again, I might also use the men's room and hike the dress up pull the thing out of panties and use the urinal. Because easy is better.

And like as has been mentioned, public toilets are not always clean enough.

And let's face it, if you are wearing a nice dress, and you can pee standing and NOT risk it being stained, then defiantly sitting might be just that, a pointless act of defiance.

Peeing sitting will not make me feel more the woman.

Hmm, I don't mean to question the whole post, but there is another reason: it's freaking more comfortable to sit. And standing isn't exactly easy. My father tried to teach me how to pee standing up, and he never could, and gave up on it. And later, when I found myself in the woods and other tight situations, I tried. The first two times, I put some on my pants. The third, I crouched.

Dunno, to me, past the fact that the concept of standing is sort of beyond me, it's just too hard and risky. Maybe my penis-dexterity is just below average, dunno.

I always peed sitting down in the middle of the night, even long before I considered transition, because it meant I didn't need to turn the light on or aim half-asleep.

I think the last time I ever did standing, was in a disgusting port-o-potty (well, unless post-op with the catheter counts - ironically, THAT meant we all had to stand, too!). I admit, though, a few times post-op I have missed it... on walks in the woods, of course, but also when I would sit to pee and have to wonder what bizarre result I was going to get this time because swelling = unpredictable spraying.

FWIW, the cis women I've spoken to have said they wished they could stand either when there's no toilet or the toilet is gross, but that they prefer to sit in ideal conditions. I haven't exactly taken a poll like this one, though.

For pre-op and non-op girls, do you ever pee standing up?

You could have included more people in your survey by asking post op girls if they peed standing up before surgery.  Before I had SRS I only sat to pee when I was using a public bathroom when I was presenting myself to the world as female.  I didn't have body dysmorphia I had gender dysphoria.  Now if I had been allowed to be female, if the only thing holding me back had been my genitals then that would have been the issue (having typically male genitals and peeing in typically male fashion, possibly).  Since I was forced to socialize as male and since secondary sexual characteristics destroyed my ability to be perceived as female, sitting down to pee would have been to me like starving to death but worrying more about place settings than food.

Generally not, but I whenever I go to festivals thats another matter... There are more than a few of my friends that were jealous that I could could go the perimeter fence and they had to walk 5 minutes to the portaloos in the middle of the night!  (Apart from the girl that brought a she-wee with her )
