Sometimes, it's hard to find words to tell you how much you mean to me. A lot of times, I don't say anything at all. But I hope someday, you'll understand, having you is what I live for...(I Love you my Queen )

Heres famours transgender and queer singers in diffrent places of the world my personal favorites is Benjamin Dukham (probably more queer than trans*) or lucas from the cliks.
I won't say its imposible but as in general singing and being famours is pretty hard in general no matter if your trans or not and if we talk about the fact of hidding being trans I think that seams almost imposible if we talk being famours.

true story I never seen anyone in the middle eastenso far.. yet....., but I guess the singer I know with hardest oddst is titica from Angolan in Africa if we are to compare country with not so much rights.

Jossef, it sounds like being in your country is doing you more bad than good. Have you looked at moving somewhere more accepting?

Every famous person is going to have plenty of jackasses putting them down. No matter how good they are. Just like every famous person gets positive feed back.
Justin Beiber is constantly called a woman and lesbian yet he's a top artist. You just have to learn to let hateful words role off you when you are looking to have a career in show biz.
(Justin Beiber isn't a good artist, I'm just using him as a popular yet frequently called girl example)

There's a couple of trans artists out there and there are many famous and semi-famous gender varient people out there. People like Ru-Paul (famous drag queen) and Jeffree Star. I'm not saying I feel one way or the other about either person, just that it's an example.

As far as Youtube is concerned, I suggest you disable the comment option or set it to where you can only approve certain comments.

As far as a career in singing goes, you will just have to bite the bullet.  If you become very famous, then people will talk about you.  That happens for cisgendered singers just as well.  If you really want to be a famous singer then you need to have a plan.  Ask yourself what are you doing right now to accomplish your dreams?  Singing on Youtube is a nice way to gain exposure, but that can't be all.  Do you take singing lessons?  Is there a place around you like a club or bar where you can perform a song you have written? Are there any roadblocks that prevent you from becoming a famous singer?  If so, how can you dissolve those roadblocks?  Have you thought about how your singing voice will change once you are on T?  Do you want to be known as a singer pre-transition? If so, how will you adapt once you do transition?  Do you have a backup plan in case your singing career doesn't take off?

These are just a few questions you should ask yourself.   From what I've heard, breaking into the music industry can be very tough and competitive.  It isn't impossible though.  As of now, I think the biggest thing is not to let people's words get to you.  People talking about you just naturally comes with the territory.

I am having the same issue and it drives me to insanity. I am pre T and only 3 people in my life know of me being trans. I have a music partner and I haven't told him. My mother doesn't know and nor does my best friend, (I'm 21) I start school in August for my recording arts degree and I want to be stealth so bad. I see myself putting it off subconsciously and not expanded my chances. I'm in the USA but on your situation in order for you to obtain happiness move to a more excepting country. Disable comments on youtube, and do what makes it work for you. Loosing dreams can damage you, I'm realizing that, I've moved to a bigger city half way across the country, will soon speak with a doc. to get my letter, tell my mom, transition and just deal with it. People will have something to say always but if your talent is there it wont matter. Best of luck. I'm African-American, involved with hip-hop/rap, that genre doesn't like gays let alone a FTM, people are uneducated and  will bash you but you must remain strong and work on your life and entertain those who will listen. Best of luck!
My profile pic is my hairy pre-t face. I want to be stealth, but my music career may kill that. ;D I like muscle cars, kicks, fashion, music, planes etc. The name I chose for myself is Khai. I'm 22. My ftm Tumblr is: http://gentlemenfck.tumblr.com/

The likelihood of ever making it is extremely slim and the possibility of bullying and ridicule is high if you do, and that goes for everyone. Factor in being trans, and it's worse. I've worked in stunts and have some more famous friends, more actors than singers but fame is fame. One of my best mates hates fame so bad that he's purposefully kept himself small time. Doing more supporting roles on TV and not so many movies. Being famous comes at a price and very few people are capable of paying that high price. Anything that makes you different only makes it harder. For example, it's still taboo to be a gay actor. Sure, some come out, but they often get type cast after that. Trust me, there's a lot more gay actors in the industry than haven't come out, a LOT more! A gay male actor is far less likely to get a womanising lead role if it's public knowledge that they're gay. Sure, some do manage to break the mold but it is rare. In an overall industry where being gay is still taboo in a society far more accepting of gays, when society still isn't so accepting of trans, the industry is even less so and you're going to have to be a whole level above phenomenal for folks to take a chance. And, unlike being gay, there's no way to be stealth when you're trans.  I'm not trying to put you off, merely give you a true representation of the industry. I'm still partly in it doing stunt gigs here and there and receiving some discrimination there already.  Knowing how difficult life in general can be, I just couldn't recommend it. In the end it's each to their own and I commend anyone for trying.  I'd be right in your corner wishing you success, but I know how horrible an industry it is, so for all I'd be rooting for success, I'd be worried about what the potential fallout would bring.

Just to note, thank you for showing me Burger Girl. Lead me to Nina Hagen from an interview I read from him. And now Slut Machine is my favorite Burger Girl song. (Smack Jack is a pretty fantastic song and video by Nina Hagen, too.)
