The likelihood of ever making it is extremely slim and the possibility of bullying and ridicule is high if you do, and that goes for everyone. Factor in being trans, and it's worse. I've worked in stunts and have some more famous friends, more actors than singers but fame is fame. One of my best mates hates fame so bad that he's purposefully kept himself small time. Doing more supporting roles on TV and not so many movies. Being famous comes at a price and very few people are capable of paying that high price. Anything that makes you different only makes it harder. For example, it's still taboo to be a gay actor. Sure, some come out, but they often get type cast after that. Trust me, there's a lot more gay actors in the industry than haven't come out, a LOT more! A gay male actor is far less likely to get a womanising lead role if it's public knowledge that they're gay. Sure, some do manage to break the mold but it is rare. In an overall industry where being gay is still taboo in a society far more accepting of gays, when society still isn't so accepting of trans, the industry is even less so and you're going to have to be a whole level above phenomenal for folks to take a chance. And, unlike being gay, there's no way to be stealth when you're trans. I'm not trying to put you off, merely give you a true representation of the industry. I'm still partly in it doing stunt gigs here and there and receiving some discrimination there already. Knowing how difficult life in general can be, I just couldn't recommend it. In the end it's each to their own and I commend anyone for trying. I'd be right in your corner wishing you success, but I know how horrible an industry it is, so for all I'd be rooting for success, I'd be worried about what the potential fallout would bring.
