That's me alright.   ;)

We didn't have ground beef for me to make my hamburger and bean dish, so I took some frozen patties and ground them up in the food processor lol.

As I was cooking it I was thinking about how angry I am that there are people who feel suicidal because of how hateful our society is. That many of us consider suicide before we consider transition. That some of us still consider suicide because it's just so hard to get through our day to day lives sometimes, just for taking hormones and having surgeries to be happy with ourselves and at peace. What a load of bull. I want to do something about it. But I don't really think visibility is the road for me - for personal reasons, but also because I think we have enough visibility at this point and it's not working. In some ways, it's making things worse.

I took down my trans group because no one but me cared enough to even show up. Today, my former friend is claiming they're going to set up another one. This is the former friend who took out her low self esteem on me. She got a response from the guy who attacked the trans group last year saying he's going to promote it at PFLAG.
So we've got a group no one wanted run by someone who can't stand to have even small mistakes corrected promoted by a transphobic bully. Nah I can't see any problems arising from this.
I also feel way too scared of mere words and the opinions of people I hate. That sucks.

They sound totally clueless.

Lol I know that's not helpful, but that's honestly all I can think of their behaviour.

To be honest, I'm kinda scared that it's going be a success and that everything bad that happened is solely directed towards me because I've got "subhuman" tattooed on my forehead or something. (I don't actually. It just feels like it.)

Given what you've told me about these people you interacted with, I'd say, if their group goes well, it's more of an indication of the sad state of society rather than a reflection on you. I know a lot of people who want to be all "LGBT-inclusive" but only when it's "fun" or "convenient", and heaven forbid that they actually try to combat their own transphobic thoughts in the process. They have the attitude of "well I say I support it so I can do no wrong."

I say forget 'em, seriously. You're already dealing with enough in your life. You have transition, which believe me, is a bigger stress than it feels and takes a lot out of you, especially early in. You've got your classes to complete, you have your son that you have to take care of, and I am sure many other things that are more worthy of your attention and concern than these "supportive" people.

Yeah I know. I'm still working on the not letting them get to me part.

I should say for my posts that it is easier said than done, I'm trying to shake off what other people may or may not think of me as well.

I just always say to me myself "F*** 'em if they can't take a joke(me)."

Yeah, I used to worry my butt off, but after working with the public for a few years, its helped me a lot. I'll talk to anyone and not get all nervous about it.

I've always heard that if I come out, I need to have a back-up plan in case I get kicked out and some money.  There's a small part of me that wants to come out to my mom now and just use my life savings (which is about 4 grand including my top surgery fund) to use that and live in a motel or apartment, work somewhere  and start a new life if it comes to the point of me having to move out.  The rational side of me says to wait about a year to come out when I have the funds for top surgery and a little extra to live comfy soemwhere else in case I get kicked out then.  Neither option is wrong, but I may go with the rational plan.

So I really dislike Katy Perry's new song. The official music video is out, I'm about to watch and see if sex truly does sell.

+1  There's not much real talent out in the music industry anymore, it all seems to be some kind of sexual performance for those unable to discern the difference between visual sleaze and vocal talent.

there is, just not in the charts or public. What a shame, instead of the talented ones we always get performance artists like Lady Gaga and her ilk.

I shouldn't be afraid of other people. Other people should be afraid of me.
I am also thinking about Loki.
On the subject of music, I rarely meet anyone who likes the same music as me.

I am kinda hungry but I don't want to eat. It's also cold in here, so maybe I'll take a bath and bring some coffee with me, but then I'll just be cold again once I get out of the tub.
