I'm Andy. I'm probably either FTM or genderqueer, not really sure which.

I've been identifying as trans* for about three years now. I first figured out I wasn't a girl (or at least, wasn't always a girl) at 18, when I started looking into genderqueer identities.

I decided to join this forum because my dysphoria has gotten really bad, and I'm beginning to think some kind of transitioning is necessary.

Hey Andy, welcome to the site. I am curious to know if Toy Story inspired your chosen name  ;D

I hope you figure out what you want to do while you are here :]

The main things to remember in life are Love, Kindness, Understanding and Respect - Always make forward progress

Superficial fanny kissing friends are a dime a dozen, a TRUE FRIEND however is PRICELESS

@SaveMeJeebus: No, actually, it didn't! To be honest I have never seen all of Toy Story. I actually chose Andrew first, but then when I found myself identifying less strongly as male, I started using Andy more often. Something about Andy sounds a little less masculine than Andrew, at least to me.

@V M: Thanks for the links and the welcome. :) I reviewed them.

Hi Andy, :icon_wave:

Welcome to our little family. Over 6979. That would be one heck of a family reunion.

Feel free to post your successes/failures, Hopes/dreams.  Ask questions and seek answers. Give and receive advice.

But remember we are family here, your family now. And it is always nice to have another brother.

It does not take courage or bravery to change your gender.  It takes fear of living one more day in the wrong one.~me
