I think you're gorgeous.  Your hair (wig?) isn't sitting naturally on your head.  Not sure how to fix it, sorry.  Anyways, yeah, you might be right about not winning a beauty award, don't know why you would want to, who judges those things anyways?  If I was the judge, you'd have a pretty good chance of winning. ;)

Ok I've gotta get out of here, I'm not sure hitting on people is appropriate.

Hi! Thanks for the feedback :) You are right that it's a wig, and that is an excellent observation.. I initially moved the hairline lower because I was worried that too tall a forehead made me look masculine, but I think perhaps I overdid it lol :).

How is something like this?

Women tend to have the taller foreheads anyways proportionally. That picture there looks like much better placement for the wig.

Chris - you are lucky - you can probably pull of what many cannot, especially after some more HRT - you will be able to dress as a boy and still be gendered female. Thats pretty cool. I agree that this one pic looks a bit androgynous though, but the rest - i woul dhave a hard time gendering you male in any of them even if I try ;)

EmilieGlass. You look to me still androgynous in the pictures which is a good start if you have not had HRT yet. You have very female facial features, especially the lips stand out as a great feature ;) - you can tip the balance a bit i think by plucking eyebrows. I like the haircut and the outfit. You are slim and can go a bit crazy on the fashion side if you like :) - You will do fine! :)
The fashion I totally have no problem with  :D I definitely gotta work on my eyebrows. Hoping to grow my hair out more. Thanks!

Anastasia - I was just about to comment that you look good but that you have features that you may interpret as masculine but that are common among east European women, too - then I noticed your nickname, so I guess that was spot on LOL. I think you are doing quite ok there, but I guess some few people may still give you a look or two, dont worry about that too much, it will improve with HRT. I believe the hair is maybe a bit "too much" (I cannot pinpoint it - maybe having too much hair hanging in the face looks like you are hiding behind the hair, which looks odd, or maybe the hair is just very feminine which draws a bit of attention to the admittedly less feminine face) . Womens hairlines are not lower, it is just about the shape (oval vs M-shaped). I think you pass well enough to go shopping, just try to carry cash because cashiers will give you very weird looks if you pay with a debit card that has a male name on it but you look as you do ;) . Also if you can afford it - get some laser treatments as soon as you can those do wonders for initially getting rid of some of the facial hair at least for some time.

Hello ladies

it's been 3 months now that I'm on hrt. I would feminize me "step by step", so as not to offend the people around me. I also did not rush for me psychologically.
it suit me very well.
But it starts to get very hard to be all the time called "sir."
I want your advice to be more androgynous.
I post pictures of my usual look.

I love the wigs but I do not dare to see my family or go to school with, I feel disguised me. I want to be myself and not another.

Thank you for your enlightened comment.
I do not post much because I'm not English and my post should be hard to read, but I am diligently the evolution of each.

thank you girls

So anyway, I took a bunch of pictures, trying to see how others see me (ignore the too-visible beard shadow, pictures were taken a good 8+ hours after shaving and doing the make up)... still not on HRT yet, so I'm obviously not going to win any beauty awards.. but if I can be taken as 'just another girl doing her thing', i'll be more than happy.

Anyway, picked out a couple I liked, would love any feedback.. I know I have a -lot- to learn when it comes to clothes and accessories, so please comment on anything you want!

^ Hips-shot because those seem popular around here.

I am not MTF, so I am not totally familiar as to what HRT can do for MTF people, however, I will say that you have so much going for you pre- HRT.

If I passed you in the street at a glance, I would assume you were female, If I stopped to talk to you, I would probably pick up on your masculine features.

So here Is what I think you have going for you as a pre - HRT women, You have a large head in comparison to your body size, that sounds a bit odd, but it is a neotenous feature and women are generally more neotenous than men.
You also have good size hips which is always a plus. You also have a fairly round head shape.

So although you are not passing right now, you actually have all the foundations for a successful transition IMO,

I'm going to challenge your imaginations. After reading through this thread I got very depressed. This is my second serious consideration of transition. The first time I bailed because I felt I could never pass without lots of FFS and without any funds that will probably never happen. I'm not to worried about my body passing, but my face will always give me away. I'm guessing that being clocked will have to be something I will come to expect and have to accept if I decide to transition. I've just started to let my hair grow out, and I will shave my beard after something important is completed soon. But in the mean time I figured I'd get confirmation or not of what I see. My face has lots of flaws as a female I believe, so I'm not optimistic. I have sunken eyes, vein on side of head, large jaw, big down pointed nose, crooked nose due to being punched in the face and the doctor didn't do anything to keep it from healing crooked, big brow, large forehead, and a receding hair line.

Hi Genzen,
Well hon you just described me perfectly! Don't let the fact that we have some really hot looking numbers show up here on these photo threads, they come out of over 8000 members most of whom look a lot like you and me. By the way, you've got killer good looking legs and quite a female presence in the last few photos! Consider the fact that an awful lot of cis women will not look as good as yourself when it's all said and done, and in the worst case if you're still not happy there is always FFS to create the miracle girl you always wanted to be. Chin up girlfriend it's a can-do situation for you!

I wasn't exactly intending that to be the focal point, I'll get a different photo up eventually I guess that one's kinda creepy.  >:(

I've been on HRT for 8 months now and am getting a bit confused. I'm out to close friends and family but not out at work yet, and that means everyday i wonder around the city in male clothes, well at least clothes that i wore pre-transition as well. I'm getting the impression from people that regardless of how i am dressed they are seeing me as a transgendered person. I feel that i look in between at the moment, but i'm not sure how other people are reading me.

Some photo's of hair up, excuse the facial hair i had to grow it out for electrolysis

I'm having a tough time seeing why anyone would think you weren't a girl based on those pictures. ??? How old are you anyway? You look really young.

Bardoux you are always radiant. That and cute as a button. ;)

Bardoux, I don't see how it's even possible that anyone could read you as not being female. You have features that cis women would envy... perfect round forehead, scoop nose, perfect-sized chin, feminine lips, eyes that absolutely sparkle, great hair. How the hell you can possibly think that you look even remotely close to "in-between" is beyond me. Maybe there's some mannerisms that you need to work on or something. I don't know. But from an appearance perspective, you not only pass, I'd be completely 100% shocked if someone told me that you were trans.

The only even remotely male thing on you is the adam's apple.

I agree. I would not pass you on the street, in boy's clothes or not, and not think you were a girl! Such a pretty face. :)

Great natural pics, izzy - you look very convincingly female to me!

Vanessa,

I'm with everyone else, I don't understand how anyone wouldn't see you as female. You are absolutely beautiful.

Oh and BTW, The official "You look fabulous, darling!" (Ver 3.0) thread is that way --->

I expect to see you posting pics in there from now on. ;)

You are such a cutie!! Really!!

You must smile in all your pics from now on...your so much sweeter looking.

The period your at reminds me of  my same feeling....I too thought I was in the in-between stage but like you was probably leaning toward more on the female side...albeit not trying too!!

I like your hair up or down....wish mine could look that full!! I don't know if you feel the same about your hair as I did then....I always wore it tied back in fear of being gendered female at awkward times...thing is I think it gendered me female more!! I now think if I wear my hair back I look ok but not very female....so I now like to wear it down...I think wearing it tied back though still genders me female more, since those are the times men seem to check me out a bit!!

Good luck with everything! Stay happy!! :)

Thank you so so much everyone for your lovely comments. I'm shocked but very grateful :) :)

Shelly i tend to have it down at the moment, there is a girl at work who calls me rock man on account that i like or rather used to like metal music and that has to explain it lol. She's great though and whilst i wasn't too happy with the nickname, it's her thing, everyone she mostly meets now has a nickname instead of using their actual name :P

Miyuki i'm 29 x
