Yeah I feel like I'm prepared. I've never been a popular person, so I'm not expecting everyone to love me.
Some of them might have disliked you because they sensed you were hiding something important. Nobody likes pretenders. You will be more naturally if you present as male as this is what you feel inside. There won't be any need to hide your masculinity.

Some might say that after transitioning you're hiding your female history. But even if the wrong gender hurts us so much, after transition history is still important but the former gender is no longer a big deal. That means: You'll only hiding your organs, that's what every cis person does, too.

After transition you'll just be in the same boat as a man with a very small thing down there.

And with more self confidence, people will get attracted to you and you'll find your very own SO.

QuoteMost of us FTMs seem to go through a denial phase, a why-me phase, an I-can-be-a-girl-if-I-try phase. Maybe we go through these cycles several times. But the end result for most of us is still the same: we deal with our families as best we can, we find a way to get what we need, and we start living our lives the way we want.

This. I went through a phase for several years where I was convinced that I was unhappy because I was Doing It Wrong, and if I could only girl properly, I would be happy and everything would be fine.
