Hello im christen and im new/need help

My name is christopher legally but go by christen . I am transgender and have always know since as far back in my childhood as I can remember. Im 24 years old now and the feelings have gotten stronger and stronger as time went on. I finally couldnt handle it any longer and told my mom how I felt and she kinda already knew. She thought that maybe I was going through a faze when younger  wanting to dress up and stuff all the time but I wasnt. I love her to death but she doesnt knohow I feel inside how Intense it is. I have no one that I can talk to about transgender topics and stuff and can relate to how I feel. I beg anyone who is transgender to please b my friend, pen pal or whatever because I need help:( thank you for your time and reading this

You will find help and advice on these pages.  I would suggest asking a couple questions in a forum of your choice.  I would also suggest that you use the search tool to look for similar questions and check out those answers.

But welcome to the site from a rather cold wet and windy South Australia.

Glad your Mum is so supportive and at your age transitioning will be wonderful, well to be honest it is wonderful at any age!!

I don't know what country you are in and the treatment options seem to vary heaps between places. But the standard practice is to start to talk to a gender therapist who can guide you through the journey. It can take a bit to pluck up the courage but there are plenty of your new sisters here to help you out.
