For those MTF, are your doctors, endos and therapists male or female.   I see women and it makes me feel more feminine.

My therapist is a male. (He's also gay.) My gyno is a trans woman..

Can't say that the gender of my medic's really has any influence on me - I chose them for their experience and qualifications.

My therapist is female, and i feel alot more comfortable talking to females about my feelings.
It just feels to me that women may be abit more accepting?!

Having said that, i dont think it makes me feel more feminine talking to a female, and i would happily speak to a male doctor or therapist if i needed to!!!

I've gleaned that you are non-op so I am assuming that you say gyno as in a doctor specializing in women's health?

Both my endo and therapist are female.  However, I choose them because they were qualified and located very close to my home.  And no, I don't feel more feminine for talking to female doctors, though I probably do feel a little more comfortable and at ease.

I've had several male doctors.  My latest is female.  My gynecologist is female.  I tried three different therapists - a man and two women.  I clicked with the second woman and stayed with her through my transition.  My surgeon is a transwoman.  I didn't select any of them because of their gender, although I thought I might be more comfortable with a surgeon who was trans herself.

I am generally more comfortable with women, but have no problem talking to men.  No, I don't feel more feminine telling my tale to women.  In fact, the male doctors were surprisingly understanding.

I think that especially for a therapist, you need to find the one that works for you.

Well I have both a female therapist and a female endo. I thought about trying a male but I'm glad I did not. I just feel so much more comfortable with women than men when it comes to my personal problems.

When I was 30 my therapist was male.. I don't think well enough qualified but we wont go into that..
New therapist 24 years later is female and a good looking gal too.. I was nervous at first but she understood my feelings.  I told her I was just going to buy a damn plane to feel better and she said why dont you just use that money for FFS or SRS later...  after that I knew she understood my pain.
I have a choice of two endo's both female and trans women.. and I know I will feel comfy with them..

My therapist is male. He's gay, but I don't see how that matters other than having some insight into my issues as transgender.

He's the absolute best and I was very lucky to find him!
