Yeah

but still! Its rather frustrating at times because I thought I'd be there by now, you know? I was hoping Id be where Im at now 5 months ago, instead of now.. But at the same time, Im really really happy with how Im doing now!

I don't count low doses either.  It's almost like what's the point.  Anyway, I'm at 2 months on regular e and spiro, so I share your pain.  It's a waiting game, but it's a frustrating one.  At least we have the early developments to enjoy!

It seems to me alot people transition in there 20s-30s, and a lot of them have great results!

I've noticed that too. I don't know if it's just because people hope that by the 20's they'll have a better idea of what they want in life, or they wait until they live away from home so there's less conflict with parents or they just deny their feelings etc. But yeah, 23 here, and now wanting to transition lol.
Farewell to my friends, farewell to the life I knew. I burn what once was, and in the ashes I am born anew.

yes i think in part it is that with 20+x you consider yourself more independent and can do stuff without parents approval. and nowadays i think more people than ever go for it at that time and less wait until they are 40+x. maybe in the future the mean transition age drops even more and we see all these 15 year olds ;)

Pretty much! I've talked to a bunch of girls and there's a certain dose where things seem to start happening! That's where Im at now. Things are happening. Before that it was pretty much just mild. I kind of wish my doctor were willing to push the envelope a little more but still respect the opinion of not shoving me full full of estrogen.

Well I know my reasons so I can't say why others waited.

But if you think about it your 20's and 30's are a great time to do it. Since your young enough to still get great results from what i've seen, but old enough to weigh the pros and cons.

Yeah - my reasons were not so much that I thought it would be better or anything. It was more about knowledge, information, guilt and the whole situation... Otherwise I would not have waited.
Early 20ies are not bad, though a lot of the damage has already happened by then, towards 30 some more damage and then probably its rather similar if its 28 or 33 or 36...
