On how much I hate the gym despite needing it

For me, Exercising has turned into the most irritant things when it comes to changing rooms: No Gym seems to have single private rooms and showers anymore, at least in the men's area, and I don't pass.

For me, going to the gym means the following preparations:
- Strip myself of all the make up before going
- Remove my frontal hair extension. If I now tie my hair backwards nice manly temples can still be seen (That's why a put a combination on wide hair bands, rubber bands and bandanas
- No stretch clothing, since it will either show my breasts or my bulge. Obviously no tucking, so I always wear long t-shirts to cover a bit the bottoms.

Obviously, I'm am using the men's area, just for storing the backpack, pants and hoodie (I have my running thights under them before leaving home). My rule of thumb is like this: If without any external help there is no possibility of being identified as any other thing as a man, to the men's room you go

Is if kinda pissing, that despite every day I'm getting closer to abandoning my male presentation, Everything is still smoke and mirrors, and the gym is a reality check of how I really look. The only visible changes I have attained in five months are only in the boobs. More translucent skin, a bit more of hair on the head, but I'm not a fat earner and I can accept that bone sctructure, specially in the skull does not change. Everyday I dream that in the future I will compare photos and see that something has changed, but for now it's only a wild fantasy... Damn. I can't wait for FFS.

I bought an exercise bike. I ride it 4 times a week. Don't need to go near a gym.
Have you read my short story The Eve of Triumph?

Yeah, me too, and I also pedal to work. But for me there is a difference between doing cardio, and endurance training. Cardio only turns me again into a sack of bones, and I need a decent overall level of strenght to avoid feeling aches everywhere.

Oh, and I do it to blow steam, too, something cardio does not give me. Also going to the gym motivates me. Just that being in that weird middle point right now is a major pain. Seriously, can't wait to cut the goddamned fire hose and forget it exists.
