I saw a girl. She was as tall as I am and with kinda broad hips and shoulders and yet she was gorgeous, cute and feminine as hell. It basicly lifted a huge weight off me - my main concern about transitioning was my height and broad shoulders. I feel much better now.  :)

I know what you mean, I'm always on the look out for tall women, most of them aren't quite as tall as me (6'3") but they're out there. When they're young they are usually pretty skinny but as they get older they can pack on the pounds in the usual places...I'm skinny but not young cis female skinny but close enough that I feel I won't stand out too much.

my new bag (for school) and my new wallet. My old ones were broken and i got them as St.Nicholas Day presents.

The new bag is way less heavier than the old one and feels way more comfortable (i have to carry around a lot of stuff, it's a miracle i haven't injured myself yet). the wallet is a little more safe and both the wallet and the bag are not only higher quality, but they also have more room.

It really was like... I don't know, a revelation? I'm not as lucky as you, I have a big body, mostly muscular - I was a hardcore basketball player and I also love hitting the gym - but in the last few years I packed up on fat as well due to dysphoria, depression and not enough free time for enough workout. So, seeing this beautiful girl... It was like in a dream, I felt like walking a few inches above the ground afterwards.  :)

The interview went extremely well, and I'm even being invited to speak at a youth leadership conference over a summer sometime soon. No pay, but super duper exciting that I get to educate children on trans issues and that sex is not always equal to gender!
Hey, you've reached Lauren's signature! If you have any questions, want to talk, or just need a shoulder to cry on, leave me a message, and I'll get back to you.

Of course, the comment section is chock full of idiots. There are some cool ones, though.

I'm only 5' 7" always wanted to be 6' though, tall women look better in their clothes and get a lot of admiring looks.

I like being short. It helps me blend into the scenery better. (Which is what I always wanted to do anyway)

Came out to a friend today - the whole, 'I am transgender' piece. Not only did he receive this well, but he also asked a bunch of very intelligent questions. This is a wonderful coming out double whammy in my books: acceptance and engagement.

Awesome news Tanya!  :)

I bought some moisturiser from the Body Shop and in the process won $30 worth of body butter! Yay! ;D

Are you on HRT?  That will probably help you lose muscle mass and tone down. I was always skinny, never muscular even when doing regular exercise. I have what Arnold Schwarzenegger would call "girlie man arms" ;D

The apt.s mgr finally came around to do inspections today and gave me no issues and even commented that my place was one of the nicest kept of the lot  :)

While playing with kids at church tonight, a girl who couldn't have been more than 10 asked me my name then said, "You're so pretty." *blush*
