Nine months on E and I've been pretty fortunate in terms of side effects; no weight gain, no noticeable mood changes, stable numbers on all my lab work.  There's only been one exception to this rule: When, and only when my dosage is interrupted in some way, I do have some mood problems.  When I was on the patch, I'd have problems whenever it came off early, and after switching to the pill, if I miss even one it completely ruins my day.  I'm normally a pretty level person (at least since my transition started) but it's gotten really bad; not that I'm ever exactly bubbly, but I don't know if I should stop taking these things or what.  I've been told by my GP that there's no way this could be the cause, but I can't seem to find another explanation.  Anyone else had this experience?  Thanks!
My gender problem isn't half as bad as society's.  Although mine is still pretty bad.

I've "missed" pills more than a couple times and not much happened because my levels wend to be low for whatever reason so I'm guessing it's half that and half psychosomatic (expecting a certain feeling hormonally generated).
Soft kitty, warm kitty, little ball of fur. Happy kitty, sleepy kitty, purr, purr, purr.

I suggest it is psychosomatic. I started to develop menstrual moods and then had my hormone levels checked daily, because I can. No change at all on daily levels, I'm on implants and I even have the day hour to hour changes that should be there, called diurnal changes, our hormones and lots of things change in a 24 hour cycles.

Just relax, the adrenaline boost from worry may be causing the affect. Adrenaline is powerful!
