Hi, I'm Michaela, and I'm MTF in my third month of HRT. I'm happy for the first time in my life. I'm a student, I live in Israel, and although it's very difficult to be active in the transgender community where I live, it's been blessedly easy to get the ball rolling once I knew I was ready to start transitioning. I feel very lucky to have been able to begin this journey and to have received help and support along the way.
I hope to get to share and learn from others here and make new friends.
I'm married and have a daughter, who is 5, and a son who is 2, and absolutely adore them.
For whatever quirky reason, I'm a tomboy, I hate dresses and can't really be bothered with makeup (except mascara, although lately I've been getting tearful on a daily basis, so I've been avoiding using that). I'm an English and History major, I like going out, and love making an impression.
I don't pass yet, although I don't really try very hard, but I generally confuse people with my current blend of gender characteristics. People react well to me, despite the slight confusion, which is nice.
And I talk way too much.
