this is me sans makeup. Do I look or pass female. Last week, I was sir'd to death. This week, guys keep saying hi and everyone genders me female. So...do I look like a man? Last week really nuked my self confidence but I want the truth. Do I pass? I aint sensitive.

Hi everyone!  I've been following this community for a while now.  I'm from a very small town:  Outjo, Namibia. (It's in Africa for those of you who don't know  )
This is my first post because I'm actually pretty scared because I've never asked anyone to comment on my looks, partly because I never loved me in the male form.  But just recently I moved out of my parents home and I finally had the chance to experiment with my 'other side' and boy did I love it.  So here it goes.  This is a picture of how I look in the female form:



Just bare in mind that it was the first time I tried make-up and I obviously am wearing a very cheap wig.  So please, honestly, tell me what you think.  Will I be able to pass as a female in puclic?  I am absolutley inlove with myself for the first time in my life and to me I look stunning!  The best part is I haven't even started HRT becuase I'm struggling to find a place in my country or South Africa that can do the procedure.  If any of you happen to know of a place in Africa, pleasssssse let me know. 
I am very lonely here because I've never met another transgender person in my life and EVERYONE here still sees transexuality and homosexuality as an absolute sin.

You are absolutely beautiful! You already have a very feminine face which is doing wonders for you, and you completely pass in my opinion. Best of luck! 😀

Absolutely and yes you do look stunning. The fact that you are slender, have that long slender neck and small lower jawline really does it for you naturally. One Christian to another, don't worry about being a sinner we all are regardless of what it is. Enjoy your life and be thankful! Happy New Year!

Scared/Surprised.  Also, I'm not sure if its a positioning thing but, you can tell its a wig.  It looks nice though.

So I though I should post here too 
2 pics ,one with a random t shirt and one with my average winter outfit
while these were taken i was 40 days on spiro and 10 days on e...
its wierd cause sometimes I feel like i pass and some like i dont,,,i also think i look more masculine in pics than when i look in the mirror (is there an explanation for this? am i the only one?)

I know I need to post a photo and as soon as I get one taken I will. I just wanted to comment you look very femminine. I too have a small face and chin such as yours. Being Native American I have a little bit higher cheekbones though. I feel so blessed for my small features. However I do have some scarring on the left side of my face around my mouth and along the jawline I'm a bit self concious over. Maybe you girls can give me some pointers on how to hide this.

You pass easily False Princess and have great facial bone structure.

As for me I'll post a photo soon so I can get your opinions. 😉

Thank you for the compliments Switzerland, Stephaniec and LearnedHand! I really appreciate it 🙂 I have this constant fear of just looking hideous and then I think that I'm just cheating myself if I think of myself as "pretty" or anything like that, so it really works wonders to hear it.

Your hairs looks good right now, it's long and seems to have a slight natural curl at the bottom, but I'd suggest trying a different part. Having it parted at the far right side of your head accentuates the typical masculine type of hairline. See if parting it right down the middle hides the hairline.

Really? Cause parting it the middle would be my default option 🙂 I tried to make it more feminine, and I read in many places that a side part would do that. Also I'm just really concerned about the hair because there's huge social pressure to cut it, even if I wear it in a man-bun... so again, it's just really good to hear the compliments 🙂

Well, I guess I'll throw my hat in. I still have not taken hormone pills yet, although I really think I'm going to in the next month or two. I took this picture on my webcam over two years ago.The lighting is not very good, and the only make-up I'm wearing is lipstick. So, what do you think?... Ok, time for a stupid question. How do I insert a picture? It's saved on my desktop. I feel like a dufus, but will somebody tell me how to insert my picture? In the meantime, I'm sure I can add it as my profile picture (I hope  🙂 )

Lisa, you will have to host the image I something like imgur.com, get the image link from that and put that link in your forum post surrounded by "[ img][/img]" make sure to remove that space I put in the [ img]

Yes, putting the picture up for your avatar should be fairly easy to do, but to place it within a topic you will need a photo hosting site like photobucket, imgur or one of the many others
