...be BRUTALLY honest how I look with this dorky hair
Well being BRUTALLY honest, I have to say that you are gorgeous and that your hair isn't dorky at all.

You kind of remind me of Michelle Pfeiffer back when she was in Ladyhawke:

@ jussmoi4nao, Alaia beat me too it, and found a pic too, I was thinking the same thing. Especially your lips appear to be identical. I have always liked Michelle Pfeiffer's beauty!

Hi, I would say that there are some things that you need to work on, mainly eyebrows. Otherwise I'd say that you are well on your way to passing as female!  :)

There are some things to work on, if I'm not mistaken you have bit of beard shadow in your picture. Otherwise it looks good!

If I only look half as good as you I'd be extreemly happy. You look great hon. And your hair's fine. If you want it longer, I mean if that's your worry just let it grow. However you've got great facial structure, you have a nice thick head of hair and the style frames your face real nice. I think you look super. And as far as being welcome, I know I speak for my sisters here when I say I'm sure your welcome here anytime, and we'd like to hear more of your posts! ;)

Hey Barbie what's up with the scarf covering your face?

The left is for protecting my face from the sun (ultraviolet).
The right is for protecting from storms of fine dusts originating from Central Asia and China.
Mostly I do not pass, because of my low voice, and actually I do not care.

Please don't shy away from the site.  No one wants you to stay away.

I think your hair is growing in good and looks fem.  Are you planning on growing it out?  Believe me, I understand that the awkward growing in stage can be frustrating, but it doesn't last forever and it looks fine on you.  Seriously, you pass in terms of appearance and shouldn't worry.

Well we all have the voice problem and have to work on it. And I apologize I forgot where you live regarding the scarf. I was just trying to lighten things up a bit anyway. Also I think you pass, so do many of our sisters here.

Honestly when I'm at a checkout counter and am being addressed properly with the correct pronouns, etc., I dread having to speak. But sometimes it's unavoidable, then I find out I was worried for nothing. We are out own worse critic's girl. I know some models here in the US who'd kill to have that bod of yours. ;) :)

I know some are going to disagree with me on the voice issue, but if you pass enough otherwise -- okay ....  if you are feminine enough otherwise .... -- than the voice will be forgiven.  Afterall, many women develop deep, froggy voices after having smoked for years.  So you could always help out the tobacco farmers by buying a pack of cigarettes (but not smoke them!) if that helps to ease your worries in the store.
10-13 tried mother's finger nail polish, dresses and her heels
23 phase of body building and then suddenly cross dressing and wearing makeup
26 started calling myself Kristy in my voicemail recording
36 saw therapist, went on HRT and partially identified as Kristy
37 moved and started HRT again, dressing a little more feminitely
41 started HRT again, and wife made agreement if I would give up Kristy
45 started HRT again, this time for good, because wife didn't hold up her end of the agreement.  New agreement with 11 year old son and wife is that Kristy be present only at certain times and not around strangers or family, unless they are ready to be a part of Kristy.

This is a very interesting point. Because I myself personally think my voice is horrible, yet I've never had anyone change their perception of my being female after I've spoken. This happened in Wal-Mart just yesterday. A very cute 20 something girl was behind the counter. She addressed me as Ms, Mam, etc., then I had to speak to help her get my steamvac back in my cart and I was sure I was made, but instead she politely asked me if I'd gotten all my bags, and if I needed help outside still with Ms., and Mam, etc. When we speak our voice sounds very different to us than it does to others. ;)

I hope you're right about this. My voice is my biggest concern. Unfortunately I don't have a cigarette smoker's completion. Either way, I'm still working on the voice :-)
