Riley, how long have you been on HRT?  I think those pants are too tight, and I don't like the way you are standing, especially with your hands in your pockets.  Your face looks prety, though. Your waist needs to shrink and your hips need to grow.  Patience!   :)
10-13 tried mother's finger nail polish, dresses and her heels
23 phase of body building and then suddenly cross dressing and wearing makeup
26 started calling myself Kristy in my voicemail recording
36 saw therapist, went on HRT and partially identified as Kristy
37 moved and started HRT again, dressing a little more feminitely
41 started HRT again, and wife made agreement if I would give up Kristy
45 started HRT again, this time for good, because wife didn't hold up her end of the agreement.  New agreement with 11 year old son and wife is that Kristy be present only at certain times and not around strangers or family, unless they are ready to be a part of Kristy.

I know I posted these pics but I'm curious as to what you guys think, oh yeah I'm not mute after all too and I sound excited ;)

The way you stand in your picture isn't helping you looking female. Your face looks great, but below it there are some things that needs to change. Maybe try wearing a corset would help out a bit.

You look and sound great.  Bottom pick does look awkward, but I've seen other pictures that don't so it's just an awkward pic.

Riley, I think you look great.  Like some others said if you keep your feet together when you stand it will show off your hips and waist better I think. Your face looks really good :)

We went for a drive at the weekend and did some sightseeing, stopped in a cafe and then finally had dinner on the way home.  It was great day out.

All in all I was out for 9 hours or so, so the beard shadow began to show at the end.

This was the most I've ever felt like I passed and as such a big confidence booster. I had a lot of people looking at me, but I think it was mainly because I stand out as so tall and so foreign among the Japanese.  At least that's what I'm telling myself :)

I would love to know what this guy was thinking in the first picture

I guess he thought something like this: "Oh what a pretty lady, I'd love to ask her out".
But jokes aside, you look great in both pictures!

I agree. Posture counts for a lot. In addition to standing with your feet together, try holding your elbows in--the "hand in the pocket" posture is definitely a male pose -- or maybe hands on hips instead?

As for the face alone, I think you have it nailed.

Hehe, maybe that's what it was and maybe it wasn't ;)

Thanks for the comment :)

I don't take good pics :(

That last one, I agree.  You looked like you had just tied up your horse and were ready to bust through the swinging doors to clear out a saloon of ->-bleeped-<- ->-bleeped-<-s.

On a more lighter note John Wayne used to CD, I think.

Now.....put those hands behind your back, cross your feet (no, this isn't the BDSM forum) and give us that pretty smile.  You are beautiful, Riley.

Taking selfies is quite hard, btw. After almost 10 months of extensive self-picturing I still suck at this...

Wow, off-topic, but I swear I saw "self-puncturing".  Glad I read that wrong.
Discord, I'm howlin' at the moon
And sleepin' in the middle of a summer afternoon
Discord, whatever did we do
To make you take our world away?

Discord, are we your prey alone,
Or are we just a stepping stone for taking back the throne?
Discord, we won't take it anymore
So take your tyranny away!

Compared with other countries, my impression was that Japanese people do not stare at others so much. They are polite people. Yes. Still, a few people studied me, but far less than in other countries.

When I was in Sapporo.

And in Tokyo.

Emily and I are buds.

Good to hear that.  We all need a little love, right?

You're half Japanese? It's great that you got to experience both of your parental cultures growing up :)

I've been getting these curious looks for 20 years here, then they changed to a different kind of 'curious' look when I went out as myself, and now they're beginning to return to the first type of curious looks...if you see what I mean :)

I felt less stared at when I was in Korea than I do in Japan.  I'm really looking forward to going to Korea again :)
