I have been transitioning back to being a man for the past three months. The process is confusing at times but it's going extremely well.
After 40 years of feeling inside that somehow I was really a woman, furtively cross-dressing, and generally living with the usual characteristics of late-transitioning M2F transsexuals, I transitioned. I took estrogen for 13 years. I had an orchiectomy. Everything was going fantastically well and I was very happy in my life as a "woman." Now I'm 53. In July of this year, I stopped taking estrogen out of concern for my cardiovascular health. In late August, I began my de-transitioning.
A few months ago, I would NEVER have considered de-transitioning. I would have said it was impossible. However, it's definitely happening now and I feel great. Some of you may like to read what I've written about my process:
