Hi Megants;
The Way Out Club - what a great night out. I commute (once a year between my house in Australia - Victoria) and my house in the UK (Devon - near Padma) and when in the UK I always try to get up to the Way Out Club at least for two weekends. I generally leave the house in Exeter as Judith travelling to Paddington the  train from Exeter and still in a hotel close to the Club near Tower Bridge and then spend Saturday shopping bin Selfridges, Debenhams, Harrods etc and taking tea at Fortum & Masons.  Normally coming back with lots of new clothes.

Hello Judith,

I've gone to the woc several times with Jodie from the Boudoir and stayed at the Chamberlain, great fun, although some of the goings on are a little questionable!
I enjoyed Sparkle but it was a bit too warm, says one who is sweltering now!  Miss TV Scotland was really good, I'd like to go back this year but the way the Aussie $ is going, I probably won't.  Sorry for being off topic, but I can't send pms yet.

Sounds like you have a nice balance, I'm guessing summer there and summer here?

Didn't even know of this thread when I first joined up a few months ago.

Sydneysider here, born here, although have spent time living near Newcastle, living in Lismore (and attending university there), and time in Adelaide...but back in Sydney since the mid 2000's. Plus every year I spend a week up on the Gold Coast, and would move there permanently if I had the money.

Grace, you better do an update on the tally.

And as for the Five Dock RSL...never been there, but live within easy travelling distance

Five Dock RSL? Good god... I moved out of Five Dock a year ago! Not that I wanted to (lovely part of the world), but nasty break-ups tend to have a habit of forcing one's hand.... :/
