Another one who lives within easy distance of the Five Dock RSL....but I too have never seen its pine and chrome loveliness, nor thrilled to its Keno machine.

I prefer the UTS rowers - a nicer view.

I hear the Aussie girls meet there for a meal and catch up every other Thursday night.

Might be wrong the Sydney girls can help out.

The fortnightly catch up currently happens at Parra (isn't an exclusive Susan's girls thing though). Haven't been for a couple of months because work has been too crazy of late. :(

Ah, Australia... I'm not an Aussie girl, myself, but I almost moved there at one point in my life. And it was an Australian who introduced me to this forum, too.

In Australia? Heck no. That was back when I was dating an Australian girl, but our relationship ended really badly. Now I'd feel paranoid that she would hunt me down and murder me in my sleep if I were anywhere on the same continent. :P

Wow that bad a break up?

Well, it wasn't exactly the breakup itself... Looking back on it now, the relationship was doomed from the beginning and I should have known better. But we just stayed together, and things got worse and worse and worse and worse. We were both so desperately lonely. I think we got far too attached to each other before we really knew each other, and the more we got to know each other, the more we found out our views on... well, pretty much everything, were at odds.

So... that's the lesson here, for anyone who is reading. Don't invest all your emotions in someone you don't know very well just because you hit it off initially.

There are lots of lessons I learned from that relationship, actually. Lots of mistakes I will never repeat. But anyway...

Sorry to derail the thread a bit with my nonsense. Back to the Aussie girls!

LordKat was going to ship himself in a crate, Jessica is trying to mail herslf, maybe we hire a Quantas Airbus to bring you all over?  I have a spare bed so you may have to sleep in shifts?

Since Pikachu volunteered to the housework I may get the gardening done as well?

I don't have any experience with gardening. Maybe you should leave that up to one of the other members, hehe.
