I used to skydive, bungee off the highest towers, surf big waves. Well after almost 10 monhs on HRT i went to an extreme sports zipline place in Phuket. It was in a old  hardwood forest and there were 15 stations spanning over 2 kilometers. Check it out www.ziplinephuket.com. It was spectaular - high up in the trees, and these were huge and tall ancient hadwook trees. I would never have any fear in the past and this was easy by comparison to my other stuff. I genuinely got scared but my pride got me thru it. Has anyone had this shift from thrill seeking? I was wondering if alot of my thrillseeking was due to my very high T count before?
When we first start our journey the perception and moral values all dramatically change in wonderment. As we evolve further it all becomes normal again but the journey has changed us forever.

I've lost impulsivity by knocking out my T and I think that's meant losing myself in a adrenaline pumping moment isn't so easy.

Now that I think about what I'm doing, it's easier to see the danger.

Yes, very much the same. I used to be into a few real hair raising ( and dangerous ) extreme sports, some of which you've noted.

Actually it was shortly before HRT ( although strongly reinforced by HRT ), I lost interest in them completely, and felt that I didn't need to risk my life any further. It was a combination... I no longer needed adrenalin to feel ( after accepting myself as trans and starting to deal with it ), and fear around risking my new life took over.

Me too. Because I no longer seek that adrenaline high I have a built up race car that is in storage that I no longer have any use for.

I would chalk it up to what I call the 3D's; Diversion, Distraction, and Denial. Adrenaline is just like a drug. Just another way to shut the brain up, to stuff feelings.

28 years as a Paramedic/Firefighter (major adrenaline rush). "T" makes your brain mushy or something. I feel smarter with "E". Now when confronted by danger I do what everyone else does, RUN! ;D

I used to love thrill rides at amusement parks, now, uhh, not so much apparently.   I also used to surf occasionally, now I don't ever need to go there again.

Gives a new meaning to E ticket ride.  :D

yeah, so I also expected that banishing the T and increasing the E would calm the beast....
but no the beast is still roaring...
I feel the need for speed!

Hum, maybe I can use it as an excuse to get my E bumped up.. LOL
