Do not be late for your appointment, even 2 minutes late and you may need to reschedule.
There is a patient portal which helps to schedule everything. Tell them you are transgender and want HRT.
When you speak with the Social Worker tell her everything (Elaine Dutton is wonderful). You can not shock them and it will feel so good to get it out. They have heard it all and will not judge you.
If you want meds at cost then when you see the PA tell them you are paying out of pocket and funds are low. Cialis retails for $1000.00 and costs $15.80 for 30. Finateride costs $18.80 for 30 days. I get E and AA through insurance so I do not know the price. I communicate through the portal with my PA and can get scripts and when I go to the pharmacy they are ready. What I like about Walgreens next to Mazzoni ( place you will get the discount meds) is that they see a lot of Trans* and they are cool

. If they try to charge you full price tell them you are a patient Mazzoni and there is a number you tell them (I never did I just said I am a patient at Mazzoni).
Dusty Latimer PA-C is the best Health Care worker I have ever been in contact with and he is beautiful too, eyes to die for. He listens to you and offers support. He told me, "Your identity is something you should not have to compromise" at a very important time. I think of this every day. No compromise.
The thing about Mazzoni is that being there and open I am with like people, very cool feeling. The place treats a lot of trans*. So being trans* is no big deal.
If you make less the $45,000/yr ask them to help you fill out the American Healthcare Act paperwork, if you need help. They see a lot of patients without insurance and use a sliding fee scale.
I park at Jefferson in a high rise 8th and Locust, I think.
If you need more help PM me. I am in the gayborhood every week.
