Going private and waiting times

Hi everyone!

So I'm taking the private route for my transition in the UK. The waiting time for my appointment to go on HRT is about two months. I was wondering if there are any FTM or MTFs here who are going private and have to wait this long. Not that I'm complaining, its actually given me time to do other things. I joked with my therapist that there must be so many people queuing up to transition these days. He said something along the lines that as society changes and we are more accepted then more people will seek to transition, which I guess is a good thing
