I do have to say that I was skeptical at first of how much it would change my lower body, thinking that some kind of surgery would be the only way. I still have some skepticism that HRT will be enough to reach my goals without spending my life in a gym- I guess I am just not a gym type of person? Anyway...
After 18 months of HRT, I have yoyo'd between very skinny and +15lbs TWICE now in my transition. I started very skinny & moderately muscular. The first time I gained 15lbs during month 5-6- it all seemed to go to my abdomen (or exactly where it used to). So I wasn't too happy with that! Then, I lost all the weight during months 9-12 and slowly kept losing it through month 14.. getting down to my lowest weight in 3 years. It did seem like some of the thigh fat stayed, but not much. This was concurrent with when I had FFS.
Then recently (around month 16-current) my appetite increased, and I listened... So, I've yoyo'd back up to +13. This time though, MUCH more of it has gone to my legs, butt, and hips. I mean I can hardly believe it. Honestly sometimes it's hard for me to stop touching myself

My legs squash out around the sides and hips when I sit now, it is a VERY noticeable difference while sitting.
But I think that some kind of procedure will be in my cards someday, hopefully with an improved way of doing fat transfer.. I don't have much fat to work with, and I wanna make it count instead of just reabsorb

I'll be first in line if they figure out how to use stem cell fat transfers for hips. Tbh, for me it is almost as (if not more) important than SRS- but I'm not letting it hold me up waiting around.
